The obvious fact is: If Theo would pile up large quantities of the different tubes, hoses, bottles and fans, there would be no chance for an "animal" to form itself, without the author creativity.
The sole determinant factor in this "creation "process is the Inventor by himself.
Without the Mind (creative mind) capable of envision the intricate tube connections, the length of the tubing, etc., this automatons would never, never exist, no matter we would wait 40,000 millions of years.
We can understand this "creatures" because we KNOW of the inventor, the genius of Theo Jansen.
If Theo would have just leave one of the automatons on a remote beach in the far Pacific, a discoverer would start talking about "tube evolution", pretending to prove the spontaneous generation of the "mechatrons".
Taking it correctly Evolution is a FACT, but not spontaneous generation neither "the survival of the strongest". both sub-theories DO NOT EXPLAIN where does the intelligence comes from, to make Life and to build the Universe.
We only see the results. We cannot see the Architect. But HE IS THERE!
Without Leo those "creatures" would be just an illusion, a dream or a fantasy.
