Is it just me, or has Doomy become a lot, ummmm, less funny? The quote above is just garden-variety bitching and moaning, but not DoctorDoom bitching and moaning.

When I first started reading Doom posts, I got the impression that he was the kinda guy who typed every word by slapping his penis against the keyboard, you know, like a man.

But now, all I see is this watered down Doom, a kinda shaves-his-legs-and-listens-to-Barry-Manilo Doom.

I mean, I know its the same Doom and all, but theres no gusto with him anymore. Its like Doom on estrogen, an effeminate Ann Coulter so-to-speak, but not half as totally hot as Ann Coulter.

We all loved Doom Classic and thought it kicked ass, but then they had to screw around with the formula and come up with this lame \"New Doom\" uncarbonated bullshit.

He's getting to be so unfunny that I'm thinking about not accepting his posts anymore.

So, what gives?

Do we know for sure that this was *the* DoctorDoom? I mean, the rhetoric matches, but then again it wouldn't be hard to belt out a sarcastic Doom-esque response and attach his screenname to it. I suppose you might have ways of checking that out. I'm just concerned about getting a false positive, is all.

Wouldn't know. I don't go there, and quite frankly the snippets I have read from DU are nearly as scary as FC.

Well, this sounds similar to what the good Doc usually says, but the first part sounds mechanical and dosen't sound completly like him, actually it sounds Borg-esq (or what ever you want to put there, but you get the idea). The one thing I like is that, while he is saying something very hateful, it still can be read without any passion or anything.
