[On why the torture at Abu Ghraib was justified]
While you were smoking pot at Berkely, I was in the military. They are enemy combatants. Don't believe all the hype your gay professor shoves down your throat.
Please understand, War has dirty and unfair tactics. But it is absolutey necessary for military intelligence. Just be happy that we are protecting your freedom. You will probably never understand that because you have never served in the military.

Wasn't there another movement in history which denigrated students, professors, and academics? You know, put professors in prison and denounced intellectuals?
"Please understand, War has dirty and unfair tactics."
Like the beheadings of innocent people, suicide bombings, and slamming planes into civilian buildings? Those were pretty dirty and unfair...
touche, Peachy!
Ferguson, this is the epitome of disgraceful. If you feel you can justify the unjustifiable, then you have no place on your moral high ground. Get down here and let me hit you.
(and does anyone else get reminded of the opening to that Twisted Sister song?)
"You will probably never understand that because you have never served in the military."
Which is why george bush, dick cheney, donald rumsfeld, and condi rice are all better suited to fight a war than john kerry.
Well, same reason for the women who choose or don´t choose an abortion, you´re not a woman. Period. Following your logic, why do you accuse YOUR ENEMIES, when they are the ones, this time, who torture you?. NO DOUBLE STANDARDS. Please.
"You will probably never understand that because you have never served in the military."
I serve in the military, and I understand that nothing that happend at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo was justified. You don't have to be in the service to understand the nature of war. And as for torture, all it takes is human decency to understand that torture is wrong.
Fuck you, Josh Furguson. I am still serving in the here and now (did Iraq for 12 months) and I certainly do not approve of any torture methods. Not just because I find it morally reprehensible and legally indefensible, or that it produces false "intelligence", but also because when we torture, we give every country in the world license to torture our Soldiers. I don’t really want to be tortured, Josh, if I should happen to fall into enemy hands. So, again, fuck you.
Edit because this fuckwad's really got me upset:
I do, however, advocate the waterboarding of you and your ilk, the naked piling of you and your ilk, the pointing of and laughing at your shriveled genitalia and the shriveled genitalia of your ilk, the positioning of your body and the bodies of your ilk in simulation of homosexual acts, the leading of you and your ilk around like dogs on a leash, and other not-so-bad methods and stress positions. I’ll bet you’d cry if someone made you put your face in another man’s naked crotchal area; or you might not. Who knows? (And don’t you fucking tell me that “crotchal” is not a word! I just coined it.)
Don't believe your educators when they speak of American war atrocities or torure
Yes, we've done these things and continue to do them and worse. Pretend we don't
If they are enemy combatants, they deserve fair treatment as POWs.
Also, torture gets nothing but shitty information and some very pissed off prisoners. Essentially, if they weren't your enemies before, they certainly are now.
Lastly, how did you protect my freedom 10000 miles away from where my freedom was being removed by the mother fucking patriot act?
Confused?
