\"Oh, I agree. The Bible makes it pretty clear.\"
Now that would be a miracle if the Bible made anything clear.
\"People are under the impression that evolution is \"proven fact\" and then try to modify God's word accordingly. Very backwards.\"
Yes, because as everyone knows if the Bible and observed reality don't coincide it's surely reality that's wrong.
That's exactly the reason I tossed out that demonic globe and got myself a nice flat map of the earth. As we all know, the earth is flat 'cause that's what the Bible says...

Of course the bible makes everything perfectly clear. Like having God create animals before Adam in Genesis 1, and then creating Adam before animals in Genesis 2. Can't get any clearer than that.

This is pretty standard for creationists; I'm sadly becoming desensitized to this particular \"argument\".

The people that try to modify God's word to encompass evolution ARE a little backwards - but not as backwards as those that ignore evolution because it conflicts with \"God's word\".

Oh, I agree. History makes it pretty clear.
People are under the impression that they are right and then try to modify God's word accordingly. Very backwards.
