1) Prison: The rates of buggery, consensual and non go up dramatically behind bars. Even with the option of getting legally married and 'conjugating'; this has not affected those facts.
2) China: With astronomical female abortions due to the 2 child only law(most families want boys), faggotry has been on the rise. China will make San Francisco look like Marin County in 25 years.
3) Greece: When society(the codes, mores and norms) of ancient Greece accepted faggotry as another lifestyle on par with any other, homosexuality increased. Some even say it had a hand in the death of the Grecian Empire.
The government needs to support same-sex marriage in order to provide an incentive for family building since the number one raw material of any society are human resources and labor replenishment. America needs to get above its 2.02 rate of replenishment in order to stay competitive with China, India and the muslim fanatics, keeping our GDP head and shoulders above theirs.
You are already seeing what happens in European countries like France and Germany when they don't consider this a priority. Sperm is either swilled or disdained. Kids are uncouth and disruptive. An atheistic selfish society will not last. Homosexuality is just one more nail in that coffin.

I know this is quite beyond the point, but Marin County is just across the Golden Gate bridge north of San Francisco. I was born and raised there and I am proud to say that the people there are very liberal and open-minded, much like SF. I went to preschool there with kids who had two mommies or two daddies, and this was widely accepted. So basically San Francisco already looks like Marin County...

There was never a Grecian empire. There were Greek city-states that fought the Persians and each other constantly, and there was the Hellenistic empire of Alexander, which died when he did. Also, gay pedophilia was a small part of Greek culture, only hypothesized to have happened between children and their mentors, only in some cases. It was in no way endemic. Even ignoring resource constraints, gdp PER HEAD will not grow faster just because people increase in number (it's actually slightly lower, see Solow-Swan model). Introduce resource constraints, and fast breeding nations go third world quickly.
And yes, repressive same sex environments like prison, army, churches, or victorian college lead to higher incidence of same-sex relationships.
