Yeah, you guys always believe the HYPOTHESIS of Evolution, even though you've never shown me any evidence of it that I can understand! You may have PhDs in biology, BUT GOD TELLS ME THE TRUTH! MY TRUTH IS BETTER THAN YOURS BECAUSE I SAY GOD TOLD IT TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"it seems to me that, deep down inside his heart, the evolutionist is fully aware of his foolishness and is afraid of God, the Bible and the Christian. The abject fear they must be contending with never fails to reveal their unbidden..."
Fear? I was more afraid when I was a child being told I was going to go to hell. I am much happier in a life without fear now.

Thank you for describing every Christian I knew in high school.

The "others" you refer to? Yes, those are called textbooks and research papers published by scientists, not a book of mythology.
Hello Mr. Troll,
You can start here:
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/
It is a good collection of evidence for evolution. I think it's fairly accessible, even to a layman like myself. Take your time, there's no need to learn about everything all at once. Keep a dictionary by your side in case you don't understand a word. There are plenty of forums on the internet where you can ask a question if you are confused.
As far as the whole hearing God talking to you thing, if there's voices in your head then that's all on you.
Oops! My previous "troll services" comment was intended to be sarcastic. I guess I wasn't quite clear enough. Sorry for scaring anyone!
I figured that using the name "Acme Troll Services" wouldn't be something a real fundie would do. I haven't seen a real troll be so blatant about it, at least not on this site. I also deliberatly said that evolution was false because "I can't understand the evidence," parroting the creationist canard, only reworded to show the obvious argument from incredulity flaw, and I could have sworn the "*I SAY THAT* my god says so, vs. hundreds of scientists with PhDs" part was somewhat obvious. Maybe I shouldn't have gone so far as to mimic the STUCK CAPS LOCK WITH WAY TOO MANY EXCLAIMATION POINTS STYLE THE FUNDIES USE!!!!!!!!! at least i didnt neglet speling and capiatls. Or caPitaliZe rAndom leTteRs iN soMe wOrds.
In the future, I shall attempt to avoid setting off alarm bells with fundie-like quotes, but it's sometimes hard to tell what's over the top for a fundie. If I post as "Acme Troll Services" again, I shall aim for a less realistic comment.
Also, I know a lot about talkorigins. I do not hear voices in my head, nor have I ever. (Except the time when I stayed up all night, then till 2 AM the next night, then took some medications [LEGAL!] with drowsiness-inducing side effects. Trust me, you would hear voices in that situation.)
Funny, as an evolutionist, I'm not afraid of god, the buy-bull, christians or anything else mythologic. Guess i'll have to find something else to have abject fear about....maybe..Chupacabra?
@King Spirula: Screw that, you have to update your fears. God, the Easter Bunny, and even chupacabras are old school. All the cool kids are freaked out by Jeff the Killer now.
The kids still like the creepypastas, right?
"Deep down inside his heart" - well, that explains a lot. You're supposed to think with your BRAIN, and that's why you don't understand evolution. "Thinking with your heart" ....I was going to say that that's for love, not science, but that's probably more like "thinking with your gonads".
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
