[Am I in discussion with a human who has a functioning brain?]
What does a functioning brain have to do with the Bible?

That says it all.
Finally, a fundie drives home the point we've been all making but, sadly, LittleLambo will never understand how .. no matter how many times he re-reads those two sentences.
Fundamentalism in a Nutshell Award .. thriced.
yeah, that about sums it up, right there.
Welcome to fundyism, please deactivate your brain at the door...
Is LLJ a fundie? I mean, look at his question... No fundy is so 'ucking sincere about their own nature, no one could be!!! So really... Isn't he a troll trying to disrupt them from within? 'Cuase his platonic inquiry is just plain genius, really people "What does a functioning brain have to do with the Bible?"
Herle King, it's possible, but usually trolls don't stay so long as to get over 17,000 posts.
From what I've seen, LLJ is a bit of a bible-quoting robot. Often he posts things in General Apologetics that are quite off-topic. At least he doesn't call Atheists deluded unlike most Christians. I think that he's too far gone to be saved at this point.
Straight from the horse's mouth. Of course, a talking horse would probably constitute some kind of miracle verifying the existance of God, so if you actually did get something from a horse's mouth, it may not be wise to mock fundies.
Well, um, you've got me there. I really and truly have nothing to say. I'm utterly speechless. Thank you.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAGASPWEEZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAgigglegiggle *wipes off tears* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Never before has Fundamentalism been summed up more succinctly.
You know, they're so far gone that I'm convinced that if God himself came to earth and said, "Look, the bible is really just a collection of mythology and was never meant to be taken as literal truth," then they still wouldn't be swayed.
What does a functioning brain have to do with the Bible?
I'ts pretty clear the answer is Not a damn thing...
LittleLambofJesus = Sheeple
Saw a church billboard that ties in very closely with this, for its strange and ironic accuracy:
"Faith begins...where reason ends."
Yep, sums it up rather nicely.
BEST QUOTE EVER award...
Love it.
Excellent question.
Nothing.

(*Looks up from reading "A Brief History of Time" by Prof. Stephen Hawking. Ponders a moment, stroking chin *)
What indeed...?
...oh, and before I get back to my tome containg scientific explanations of how this universe came into being (with diagrams, formulae & equations; unlike said 'Bible') LittleLambofJesus, I'll leave you with these two quotes by Bertrand Russell (emphasis added):
'So far as I can remember, there is not one word in the Gospels in praise of intelligence. '
'Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible; thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man. '
And now you know why Secularism, Humanism and Atheism are on the rise. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing indeed.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
