(yes, she is actually saying that the founding fathers of the US misinterpret the constitution)
You are mistaken. There is no separation of church and state in US Constitution. That is an old outdated ACLU myth long repudiated by the courts.
The vast number of people believing that the myth of separation of church and state is NOT in the constitution include the founding fathers and the US Supreme Court!
Just to set the record straight.

You couldn't set this straight with a steamroller.
First of all, you have nothing to back it up, second of all, you are just plain old-fashioned wrong.
Saying it don't make it so. You really need to change your name, unless 'truth' means something else to you.
Ack! You should be kicked out of the United States for such an appalling lack of history education. Luckily, you're right to spew stupidity is protected by the same Constitution, neigh same Amendment, that keeps your fucked up version of xianity out of my gov't.
The exact words "separation of church and state" don't appear in the Constitution. So what? The Constitution says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ..." Jefferson explained: "I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state. "
Well, I wouldn't say the founding fathers still believe that, since they're dead. But seeing as they wrote the goddamn thing, I don't see how they could possibly misinterpret it!
Sir or Madame, let me say that I am proud to read your current post and that you have decided to name yourself "lovestruth". I have never seen a more perfect oxymoron. You are, either a cynical intelligent person and the biggest single liar ever to post on this site, or the stupidest human being to ever attempt a lame fundie fake at historical and current knowledge of our history, government, the ACLU, founding fathers, and the Supreme Court. Either way I salute you. Never ever before on this site have a read a post containing not one single grain of truth until your post today. I would thought no one could possibly write that much bullshit without one true statement or idea, I was wrong. You sir or madame have have fundie greatness. You deserve an ultimate "lying sack of shit award".
But seeing as they wrote the goddamn thing, I don't see how they could possibly misinterpret it!
Check out the Alien and Sedition Acts.
Anyone else catch that she didn't even say what she meant to say?
"the myth of separation of church and state is NOT in the constitution "
remove the NOT, and that's likely what she really meant. I think. I can't really tell, her grammar is so terrible.
Y'all should read his other posts, LovesLies firmly believes that True Christians should rule the U.S. until Jebus comes back to rule with a rod of iron (which always sounded kinky to me). He flogs this "ACLU myth" bullshit on every single one of his threads, and flatly denies all the facts that contradict him.
Even for a fundie, he's a piece of work.
(sticks head out window, grabs and pulls hair, yells at top of lungs:)
TREATY OF TRIPOLI, BITCH!!!!!!
So, why no mention of God in the Constitution? Oh, and,
Treaty of Tripoli, bitch.
Didn't the Founding Fathers write the Constitution? They of all people ought to have known what is in the Constitution. (As they are long dead, they neither know nor believe anything now, though...)
The ACLU exists to defend constitutional rights, they ought to be fairly familiar with all the little quirks of the Constitution as well.
This just in:
One of the spreaders of shit like lovestruth just expressed is Barton who has spent years rewritting history to support right-wing ideology like this. His publishers have removed his latest book due to multiple falsehoods and well,, lies.
Barton is an advisor on school textbooks in Texas. This shit's gotta stop. The lying is way beyond overboard at this point.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
