[christ ambassador claims responsibility for the Giants winning the superbowl]

I prayed to the LORD for a victory to prove that he answers prayers.

I made that deal with him. Now I have to fulfill my part and show that the LORD answers prayers. I had NO money on the game, I don't bet nor do I think Christians should.

that being said, My witness is this...Jesus answered my prayer and I plan to use that as a witness for the REST OF MY LIFE!!!!

Worse than that actually. Telling people that they are being prayed for has a negative impact. It underperforms against doing nothing at all. And performs substantially worse than proven effective treatments such as Black Magic (which functions at precisely the same rate as placebo would be expected to - i.e.: no better or worse than an empty pill capsule).

Compared to actual western medicine, all of these treatments are pretty sad (since we're only allowed to use medicines which are demonstrated to work better than Placebo). But the fact that prayer performs worse than just shrugging your shoulders and doing nothing is a telling point. Jesus is bad for your health.

for this to be even close to proof you'd have to have at least some evidence that you did indeed pray for the Giants to win. Even then, going by the money line, there was at least a 20% chance they'd win with no supernatural intervention. Really that's pretty weak. Next time you should try praying for something that really, absolutely cannot happen without divine intervention and showing your results. I'd suggest perhaps jumping off a cliff or very tall bguilding and miraculously flying (not falling or gliding with the aid of equipment) to safety at a predetermined location. Really if God can subtely alter the actions of 22 athletes at once to affect the outcome of a football game this should be pretty simple.

And Superbowl XLIII before that:

Pitttsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers.

Nope, no New York Giants in 2009-11. Nosiree.

The New York Giants didn't make it to the playoffs, due to the Packers beating the Chicago Bears; the former winning said NFC Championship game, thus going to the Superbowl

At the last regular season game at Wembley - San Francisco 49ers vs. Denver Broncos (49ers beat them 24 - 16), a senior executive for the NFL when interviewed by the BBC stated that this and previous games had sold so well (they were sellouts within minutes), that they were giving serious consideration to hosting a Superbowl at Wembley Stadium here in the UK (no more waiting up till 3AM. Yay!). The fact that American Football is so popular here in Britain, also gives credence to the NFL's plans to - when they form new franchises in the future - to award one to a UK-based team.

So what happens when - said British NFL team wins a Superbowl - your 'Jesus', doesn't favour just your precious Giants, but your entire country as a whole eh, christ ambassador?!
