Both Islamic and Hindu religionists have been known to kill Christians (another reason the anticreatnioist like to use these world views) just for what they believe. So why would they debate them? They also believe that both Christians and Jews were bred from animals. One would have to presume that the idea formed from Darwinian evolutionary thinking

You know, I think the world would be a lot better if the majority of the religious people were Bhuddists. I mean, when's the last time you saw a Bhuddist crusade?
In fact, they'd be awesome. You'd get an unstoppable wave of monks sworn to pacifism slowly walking up to you and telling you to find out more about yourself and be nicer to people. The death toll from a Bhuddist crusade would be 0, as would the damage in American dollars. The only noticeable economic side-effect from a Bhuddist crusade would be that a few people might be nicer.
Yeah you're right about those Hindu and Islamic 'religionists'. Unfortunately you also have Christian 'religionists' trampling over other religions for the last millenium so you really can't use that argument without invoking a certain household appliance-related idiom.
"They also believe that both Christians and Jews were bred from animals."
Actually Hinduism has a different Creation story than yours, and like Christianity, only the hardcore idiots believe in it. Whereas Islam shares the book of Genesis with Christianity, I believe.
edit: Wait. Actually they have several.

What is so hard about accepting the idea we're animals with bigger brains?
It's funny. Because at the time when there was not a single Hindu or Muslim in Europe thanks to Inquisition, India and the Middle East was plenty of them. So, the logic cracks here, don't you think?. And moreover, the theory of evolution appeared in 1868, when India was actually being cracked by the white English men and the muslim world was a protectorate. Some research before opening your mouth, please.
@Andreus:
This is pretty much happened in Burma recently. Unfortunately the monks proved to be eminently stoppable, and the death toll was considerably higher than 0 (though all the fatalities do appear to be on the monks' side).
Despite being both pacifists and greatly venerated, the monks were in the end powerless (so far) against a ruthless government determined to do whatever it deems necessary to maintain its control of the population.
This is why the fundie dreams of theocracy are so dangerous!

Cambodia, 1975. "To keep you is no benefit. To destroy you is no loss."
You cretins at Creation wiki... Islam is an Abrahamic religion just like Christianity, their creation myth is the same as yours .
And Hinduism has it's own creation myth, they just don't don't disguise it as science and try to push it into Western school systems.
Islam: Not everything is about your religion, maybe they're killing you for political reasons?
Hindu: Never heard of this one happening.
EDIT:
From the wiki:
the anticreationist will always demand absolute evidence. Which is something that they cannot produce themselves, but will require from others. It is good to point out that their standard for creation is not the same standard for evolution when this happens.
As /b/ might say "THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF IRONY."
How could anyone possibly ... ?
Oh, it's Creationwiki. There's a reason why not even Conservapedia accepts Creationwiki as a reliable source.
"Both Islamic and Hindu religionists have been known to kill Christians (another reason the anticreatnioist like to use these world views) just for what they believe."
And Christians have been known to kill Muslim's and Hindu's (among others) for the very same reasons. What's your point? Or were you actually trying to point out that religion + differences of opinion = lots of dead people?
"So why would they debate them?"
Because the Christian god commands that the heathens be converted? You know, that whole "go into the world and preach the Gospel" bit.
"They also believe that both Christians and Jews were bred from animals."
That's unlikely. At least for the ones who actually have any brains.
"One would have to presume that the idea formed from Darwinian evolutionary thinking.
Of course. That's the first conclusion I would come to also. Oh, wait, no it's not. The first conclusion I would come to is that it's religious propaganda designed to dehumanize those who don't think just like they do which, in turn, makes it much easier to order genocides against them. Then again, I can usually chain coherent thoughts together; something I suspect you haven't mastered yet.

Is he suggesting Muslims are anti-creation and support evolution? That would come as a surprise for many of them, seeing as they accept the same OT Bible as the Christians.
The entirety of that article is fail on epic proportions.
I also like how their topic for "evolutionists claim allegory in the Bible because they don't want to face its truths" is immediately followed by "evolutionists point out the Bible speaks of a flat earth, but they don't understand that some of the Bible is allegory". Also, apparently most flat-earthers are atheists.
Thomasine Christianity in India coexisted peacefully with Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism from the first century until the early 16th, when the Portuguese Papists appeared on the scene and desecrated it.
Arrogant bible missionaries never seemed to give a shit about the established cultures they were destroying in their self-righteous zeal. Small wonder that certain groups were found to be hostile to them. It's obvious that Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism were too large for the bible-beaters to overcome, but everything else in their path was plowed under.
ToE has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Almost all religionist(whatever it is) of all kinds, Pagans and Druzes included, have been known for killing other people, Christian or not. The theory of the Evolution of the species appeared in a time where Christians were not exactly "persecuted". Conclusion?, your thesis makes no head or tail.
Wow! That's my first real intro to CreationWiki - its easier to pick out the pieces which aren't fundie. This is from the same page ... sorry if it's bad form to post more quotes in a response but I figured there must be some rule about no more than one entry from CreationWiki per month or something ...
"... Carbon (man) has 6 protons, 6 neutrons, 6 electrons or 666. This will be the number in which the Antichrist will be identified by. And because a clone does not have working sexual organs, this explains why a cloned Antichrist will not have need for a woman."
Both Islamic and Hindu religionists have been known to kill Christians ... just for what they believe.
Christian religionists have been known to kill Christians ... just for what they believe. Check out the wars between the Catholics and the Protestants, Albigensian Crusades, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, England, Puritans in America, etc., etc. ...
More people have been killed in the name of the Christian God than all wars combined... "just for what they believe." That means more deaths at the hands of Christians than all other religions, pagans, and atheists combined. You fail at playing the victim.
"Listen, and understand. That Jesus is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are baptised."

"A steaming pile of stupidity to be laughed at, for sure...plus...they link to the FSTDT gallery as an example of 'anticreationist hate'."
Somebody please tell them we "hate" their stupidity!
I have more pity than hate, actually. I feel sad that so many of them have their heads jammed up their ass.
Hindus have not killed a single Christian(or Muslim for that matter)since its creation, since they don't have, among other things, AN ORGANISED BODY OF MINISTERS. There have been not fatwas or Crusades, so to say(another topic is INDIVIDUALS who may have done it, but, again, same with any religion). Second, Thousands of Christians and Jews live in peace in the Middle East, so maybe they didn't kill so many. And, as somebody who has read the Koran and has spoken with muslims, that's bullshit. Jews and Christians are PEOPLE FROM THE BOOK, who are allowed special treatment in their society. Would you make a little research?
Confused?
