This [the collapse of evolution] is already long overdue. People will always find a way of denying their Creator (and Moral Lawgiver) but the day will come when they stop looking to Darwin for false comfort.

Keep waiting. ...waiting...waiting--There it went! Naw, I'm just messin' with ya. It won't be collapsing anytime soon.
Also, atheists do not worship Darwin, thou fuckwit.
Is this the Bevets? (checks the thread) Oh, yeah. Inane statement followed by quote from questionable authority -- that's Bevets alright.
As for looking to Darwin for comfort... I don't quite see how that's supposed to happen. I mean, yeah, you can always breed sheep for more wool or geese for more down, but if you prefer a synthetic fill in your pillows and cushions, Darwin is not going to be the mechanism by which it's made. (Though I have to say I prefer natural fibers myself, so if a little genetic tweak to a field of Gossypium spp. makes for better cotton, I'm all for it.
*on his knees*
Blessed be Darwin, the creator, the life giver, the all powerful.
Thank you for all Thou hath given me,for showing me the way through your words. For You are the one true Lord, the Giver of all that is good, and for.......
Wait,What?
It's not Darwin, idiot, it's thermodynamics.
How hard can that be to understand?
Yep, when xtians worldwide destroy all fossils, burn down all museums, destroy all the data in all the university computer banks, execute all biological scientists, and take over the educational system, the Theory of Natural Selection may become good and forgotten.
But it will still be true, and only a matter of time before someone else rediscovers it.
I don't understand why they always have to couple faith to ToE...
Darwin was a scientist. He knew it, everybody who knew him knew it, students of his work knew it...but the gullible and ignorant still insist on applying godhead. WTF, really!
to JasoNF, I wonder how long the fundies could keep the tech that facilitates their fascism working after they kill/imprison anyone who knows anything? Can't be more than a generation...
Mind you, this is just idle speculation; I'm not at all looking forward to Gilead.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
