If it were up to me, I'd start burning you heretics at the stake. You Atheists are not only relgious heretics, you are also heretics of science.

If your "faith" were strong, you wouldn't want or need to threaten people who don't think exactly like you do. You're just an insecure little arse-pimple who's afraid that if the "heretics" are allowed to express opposing viewpoints, some spark of their logic might penetrate your tinfoil hat and then you'd have to admit you've been wrong all along and your fragile little ego would shatter. Pathetic!
Do you know what an heretic is?, moreover, isn´t there a more horrible heresy to science than saying that the world was created in six days, that snakes speak or, far worse, that whales are fishes?
'heretics of science'? I don't get it. I think he refers to the evil practice of ours of refering to evolution as 'proven', or worse, 'factual'.
"Thou shalt not kill, remember!? What kind of priest are you, anyway??"

I'm not sure if he's a troll or just a petulant child, but he annoys the posters so much that they go mad and resort to otter puns partway through the thread.

I think the whole of Weinberg's quote deserves to be posted, especially as it applies to that numbnuts Christianite.
"Religion is an insult to human dignity. Without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."
The problem with that is there's a commandment forbidding it.
Actually, the commandment that's usually translated as "Thou shalt not kill" would be better translated as "Thou shalt not murder ."
Execution, in accordance with the law, does not violate this Commandment. This was why the Roman Catholic Church was okay with convicted heretics being burnt at the stake.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
