One aspect of the atheist influence is gluttony. Look around you next time you go to the store, especially if you live in the South, everybody has a big fat ass or a gut that hangs over like an apron. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Jesus said in his great discourse on faith:

"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"

Gluttony is a lack of faith. A lack of faith is part and parcel of the atheistic influence. Show me an obese person, and I’ll show you a slave to this world, a slave who’s only comforts are the indulgence of his or her bodily pleasures, a hedonist, an atheist.

But let me also say this, even if a person is obese, if they are losing weight in the name of Christ, though they are currently overweight, they are not the person I’m talking about, for those people have repented. They are perfect and it doesn’t matter what they’re body looks like.

First off, what do you care? You're an atheist. If I'm bigotted, it's just part of my genetics according to atheism. I have no more control over it than you do.

Second, you do deserve hell. You are an atheist. If there is a God, a Supreme Creator of the Universe who gave you free will and a world full of proof, and yet you choose to use your free will to reject your creator, you deserve to go to hell, and you will go to hell. I don't say that with hate or malice toward you.

I think atheism is harmful to society and an abuse of the first amendment, like shouting "Fire" in a theater. And one place it most certaily doesn't belong, and most certainly is deletrious is on the battlefield where morale and faith is everything to the mind of a soldier.

I'm not ashamed of myself for this belief. If they could courts martial this guy, I'd be all for it. I think they should discharge him immediately. I don't think they should allow atheists to serve in he military.

I'm surprised the commander didn't pull out his 9 and cap him right then and there. We're talking about Iraq. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT DEFENDING THE WORLD AGAINST FUNDAMENTALISM that would have all our heads cut off. Atheists are the ones who are marginalized in this war. This is between competing religions for world domination.

Fundamentalism gets a bad rap and is often associated with hate and bigotry, but I think fundamentalism can be a good thing. Real Christian fundamentalism would look like this:

1. Belief that the Christian is a superior form of life. In fact, the greatest possible form of contingent life in the universe.
