I believe you are a nurse? Please cite something in medical research that actually supports the idea that terminating a pregnancy results in a better chance of survival for a woman in any circumstance, than carrying the baby to term. As far as I know, only ectopic pregnancy fits this presumption, and there has already been at least one ectopic pregnancy that continued to term WITHOUT killing the mom (I believe in australia, last year). Hence the presumption is suspect. But even if the presumption in the sole case of ectopic pregnancy is indicative of REAL risk to both mom and baby(it probably is), there could not be any excuse for removing the baby from the mon without attempting to SAVE the baby, as well as the mom.

There have been several trauma victim moms who have been maintained on life support to save the baby, and if memory serves me right, at least one of those moms "came back".

But at any rate, my point is: I don't believe ANY RESEARCH has established the scenario you present for your hypothetical. Prove me wrong if you can.

SUPPOSEDLY Roeder killed a filthy, churchgoing MASS MURDERER, who killed PERSONALLY 60,000.....SIXTY THOUSAND human beings....for money and FEMINISM !!!!! Hence Roeder is now condemned by most "nice" (read feminist) christians, and prayers are publicly offered for Tiller's family by persecution fearing christian prolifers. Hey, I DO offer my prayers for them. MAY THEY REPENT!!!!!! May they see that their husband and father ABUNDANTLY deserved to DIE! EARLY! EARLIER! May they cast themelves upon GOD'S MERCY, and may they even insanely beg GOD to have MERCY upon their wretched and loved, but righteously executed husband and father.
(Personal note: While my mother was able to communicate she was a pro-abort....my dad was escorting murdering mothers into their abomination, packing a piece for guys like me, while my body was being twisted into impossible positions, and getting 500 pounds of concentrated pressure on my spine to save the babies.) ......If anyone does not think I love my mom and dad, they are sick!

So.....by the above conflicted and evidently pained pained paragraph.....perhaps I have transmitted that I have enough feminist traits to grant me a plenary indulgence for STICKING TO GOD'S WORD!!!!!! in a supposedly? male way? Or is my attack on the supposed NON-feminism of chrsitians....male and female.....unindulgeable?

[My husband divorced me to remarry a woman half his age, he wanted more kids and he didn't want to adopt. So in all fairness I should be fine dating.......]

I'm sorry Anna, but your and my ideas of fairness have nothing to do with it. Our society's ideas about fairness have nothing to do with it. Our churches' ideas aboout fairness have nothing to do with it. But God's words have everything to do with it.

Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

1Co 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
1Co 7:40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

These are explicit factual statements. In all of the bible's teaching statements there is no contradiction to this. The KJV and Rotherham mistranslate a verse in Deut. 24 that has confused many, but the "allowance" there for a divorced woman to remarry while her husband yet lives does not exist in any other translations I am aware of, nor, more importantly, in the hebrew itself. Even in kjv english, the whole argument there has nothing to do with an allowance for a woman's remarriage, but rather everything to do with her being defiled by remarriage.
Jesus said a man who divorced his wife except for the grounds of fornication, CAUSED her to commit adultery. Now surely such a man is more guilty than the divorced wife, since he has CAUSED her to sin. But that does not mean that she has not sinned, does it? Or that the sin is not terrible?

I hope you will look up every verse in the bible regarding marriage and divorce before you answer this man's proposal. Every verse.

Frankly, I think you are displaying a rather common christian prolife fallacy: namely that the women who have abortions are somehow not as disgustingly evil as the terrible, mainly male, butchers who wallow in blood. I think you are showing the common effects of many HUNDREDS of years of feminist dogma, going back to the early church's elevation of Mary, and back further still to the pagan whitewash of Eve.

Supposedly women are not as evil as men. Yep. Eve was completely taken in by the serpent, and hence not as culpable as Adam, who simply rebelled in order to please his rib. I actually agree in a way. Adam WAS more culpable. If he had not eaten, death would not have entered into the world. We don't know what would have happened if only Eve had eaten. But we DO know that it is ADAM'S eating that condemned the world to vanity. To whom much is given, much is required. And men were first in creation, and men have been given more. Hence we are more culpable.

But don't forget that Eve was deceived, Eve ate, Eve GAVE TO HER HUSBAND TO EAT.

But today it is quite apparent that not only unbelievers, but also believers, in general think women are morally/spiritually superior. Three fifths of church goers are women after all. And what do most women, including christian women, do with their supposed superiority? They either murder, or they at least, in part, justify murder, and a plenitude of other abominations, as long as they are FEMININELY related to, abominations.

Poppy's girl, would you "empathize" with a woman who killed her 2-year-old child who was an extreme mental or physical defective? Would you refuse to condemn that? I guess I'm trying to get at what makes you think you are pro-life (or anti-abortion). Because if you wouldn't empathize with the mother of the 2-year-old, and would call that murder that should be punished, but not the killer of the unborn child, I hope you can see the problem with calling yourself "pro-life". Likewise, if you empathize with both of them, and wouldn't condemn either one, then you are pro-murder, it's just that you are selective about which murders are OK to commit. In other words, it's OK to kill babies that are judicially innocent, but it's a horrible crime to kill a man who has spent his adult life butchering babies and burning their bodies in an in-house incinerator whose smoke and ash has wafted through the breezes of Witchita for decades.

There we have it.

I don't think they [gays] should be killed. Maybe mamed or hurt real bad. Nooo; however, it should be punishible with imprisonment. When I was a military police officer I arrested more than several "sodomites" for sodomy. They were all thrown our of the military. It was a wonderful feel good experence.

The community college is offering viewing and study of Mars in this sky. The promotion in the fall registration brochure says Mars has not been this close to the earth in 57,000 years. (I laughed at that part because we all know the earth is not even 10,000 years old). So that means that Mars has never been this close... The Bible says in the last days there will be signs in the skies. Also, the past two years Earth has barely escaped being whacked by large asteroids. I am not making predictions or prophesying, but I'm wondering if this Mars thing could mean the antichrist is coming? Also, I think those asteroids (which whizzed by and weren't even noticed until they had gone by) could be God trying to tell us something.

NKJV is a perversion of God's word. Nobody died or suffered to translate the NKJV. The NKJV says the world was made 'through' Jesus, not 'by' Him the way the KJV does. They are two completely different Bibles... I want nothing to do with that New Age NKJV. Ever notice how easy it is to memorize the KJV Bible? It's because it IS God's Word. Ever notice how when you quote the KJV Bible it hits people with force? And when you quote these other phony Bibles people just laugh it off? Any preacher who preaches out of anything but the KJV is acting foolishly.

There is not a snow ball's chance of getting a constitutional amendment passed to protect marriage since there are now so many highly placed Republican sodomites... forget Bush says we Worship the same God as Muslims. He ought to be written off by us already.

Yes, there have been many antichrists, but there will be a final grand slam by Satan when he completely takes over the world and martyrs nearly all the believers and the Jews also. And we must refuse the mark or we will go to Hell... I am not a left-behinder. But you guys are just as mixed up as they are, in my opinion... We are expected to read and think for ourselves and we will be judged for not doing so. We are not supposed to take man's opinions over the scriptures themselves.

Well, 'Christian' President Bush has always compromised with sodomites and baby-killers, but still manages to maintain the illusion that he is 'pro-life and pro-family'... Bush says he opposes homosexual marriage, but has no problem with states adopting counterfiet marriage for sodomites. Another reason not to vote for either one of the two major parties next November. Don't waste your franchise on a man who refuses to stand for godly positions.

Lee Atwater (who will no doubt be treated to an extremely warm eternal home) invented the 'Big Tent' theory for Republicans, under which pro-lifers and pro-deathers and traditional family advocates and sodomites and other perverse creatures could rally together for a common political goal. Obviously that goal cannot have anything to do with godly leadership, but pure party politics... I will not be swayed by fools that tell me they will vote for a wicked man, so that a man they perceive as 'more wicked' doesn't get elected. God installs kings and removes kings. I will vote only for godly men, and leave the rest to His divine Providence.

70% of the world's population speak English. So, if God were to give a Bible to the people of the world, is it not safe to assume he would use the most common language- that being English... I believe God (having the foresight that he does) saw that in the future English, because of capitalism and whatnot, would be the language a majority of the world would speak. If He would have seen Spanish in that role maybe we'd have a Spanish Bible in place of KJV.... And as for the Greek or Hebrew texts (and this is strictly OPINION) i believe it's careless at the least and dangerous at the most severe to have a preacher go back to these writings... What's wrong with taking the KJV and, whatever you don't understand, having the Holy Spirit reveal to you.

Applied Digital Solutions is now accepting pre-registration for getting Veri-Chipped (The mark of the Beast in my opinion)... This is a sign of things to come. We are already being slammed because we (Christians) aren't acceptant of ecumenical religion, next it will be because we won't get our chip. The end is very near. Keep your lamps lit. The return of our Lord is truly nigh.

My personal opinion is that the strong delusion will be that this antichrist and his henchmen will be perceived as alians from another planet come to save us from ourselves. 90 percent of people believe there is intelligent life on other planets, are full of Star Wars and Star Treck and worship NASA. These creatures (demons) can physically manifest themselves in any form or way they choose (ie as spaceships and the Virgin Mary and the Angel Moroni), and I believe they can also mate with humans (as per the scriptures re the giants and angels mating with the daughters of men)... The demons deliberately choose to manifest themselves as shocking physical creatures as one more way to rebel against God.

Speaking as KJV-only man, I would agree with StormThinker on this... I read the KJV only because it is the only English translation (besides NKJV) based on the Textus Receptus, the 'received text' that God preserved... BTW, in our house we call the New Internation Version the 'HIV'. It is such a bastardization of God's word, it's an infection.
