Astrology is legally considered science in India. The parallels to Darwinism are obvious.

If thats even true I can guarantee it was the hardcore believers, think your inbred family with darker skin, pushing to get their BS accepted as science. *the parallels are obvious...* and not the rest of Indias scientific community.
Wasn't it Michale Behe (an ID proponent) who during the Dover v Kitzmiller trial admitted that his definition of "science" (in which he includes ID as solid science) would also have to include astrology?
ID and astrology are way more similar than evolution and astrology...by your side's own admission!
(1) ... no it's not
(2) you're a lying idiot
Only in that study of the stars helped map out space and study of animals helped map out evolution.
Study of religion just leads to more question, one being: where did they find the rapture in the Bible since it is'nt in there?
"Astrology is legally considered science in India."
As I understand it, Vedic astrology is intimately tied with traditional Hindu practices. If anything, this is an argument for why religion and politics should keep out of science. To me, the parallels to creationism are obvious.
Besides, haven't you heard Hovind's lecture of how the gospels are outlined by the signs of the zodiac? Apparently at least some creationists take astrology very seriously. Now try finding a legitimate scientist who does.
Confused?
