Question: WHY is it a 'Sin'? Care to give us a detailed explanation as to the reasons for it, say, being worse than murder? Because in the OT, your 'God' orders his 'Chosen People' to commit untold atrocities upon innocent parties (PROTIP: Hosea 13:16), yet, what two adult consenting men do is somehow... worse : how? Because I'm buggered if I can see an explanation by your 'God' in the Bible; and isn't that what the basis of your 'belie fs' - the Bible - is all about: the WHYs of things...?!
...or do you think that you're God? Because when that tiny titbit of Leviticus you hold onto with a death-grip to justify your own subjective sense of Squickiness; 'Men kissing is ICKY! So you've never delayed burial overnight, never lent or borrowed with interest, always paid workers their due on time, never spoken ill of anyone and never called in a debt from someone who didn't have the money? You do know what Jesus has to say about hypocrites?

Also, why should I give a single crap about what your god hates? Why should you make it your business, for that matter? Your Bible says that you can't know the mind of God, but you can know the mind of Christ. It also says, if you believe you know his mind, you should walk as he walked. I seem to remember that he was the friend of whores and beggars, and he blew his stack at money-changers and fig trees. I think you're pissing in the wrong pot there, Euphemia. But according to you guys, it's not just a sin, it's the ONLY sin that God cares about, and being against it is the most sacred sacrament in Christianity, even before loving your neighbors and the 10 Commandments

Agreed. It appear to be one of those "everyone talks about it but no one can produce it" kind of things.
Compare the number of times the bible condemns homosexuals to the number of times it condemns liars, hypocrites, those who pray openly and boastfully, and the judgemental. Or for that matter, blasphemy, adultery, "seething a kid in its mothers milk", or coveting. Now get a grip.
So if your god hates it so much, why isn't it one of the 10 Commandments?
The way you are so hung up on it, you'd think it would be The First Commandment.

God hates homosexuality, yet it allowed people to feel an uncontrollable attraction to members of the same sex. Is this another error in God's perfect design? Or does God not truly hate something that is innate?

Fundie word distortion strikes again! We've been waiting for the end times for ages, and I doubt it'll wake up now. Your endless preaching, warnings, and doom mongering are a minor annoyance to its desire for an eternal slumber.
If enlightenment and compassion are the hallmarks of Satan's rule then he has my vote. It's something you fundies will never understand -- that telling us that all the good things of the modern world are the result of your greatest enemy's work will only push believers further away and reinforce the opinion of nonbelievers that you're nothing but a relic of a darker, more foolish time.

Let's be clear: homosexuality is something the Bronze Age Arabs who wrote the Bible hated and then claimed God agreed with them. They also hated adultery and called for the same punishment. They hated working on the Sabbath and sassing your parents even more, and called for an even harsher punishment. According to Paul, God hates a whole bunch of stuff: unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, greed, maliciousness, envy, murdering, strife, deceit, malice, whispering, backbiting, hating God, insolence, arrogance, boasting, inventing evil, being disobedient to parents, lacking understanding, breaking covenants, lacking natural affection, lovelessness and being unmerciful. Why single out homosexuals and try to blame it on God when it's your own cherry-picking prejudice? As Paul said, you do these things, too, and deserve death - except that you go to church and apologize and that makes it OK, right?
Eating shellfish, mixing meat with cheese, working on the Sabbath, wearing clothes of mixed fabrics and sowing the wrong crop in the wrong field are also things that God hates.
Satan is the ruler of the world? So, God is not omnipotent?
