Wont be long before there wont be a Christian section in secular book stores. It will be considered hate speech. Christian persecution in the USA is increasing at an alarming rate but there is a good side. Our Lord will be here soon.

Of course it'll be allowed in book stores, right next to all the other religious works.
Oh I forgot, Christianity isn't a religion! I guess they'll have to add a "Bull****" section where it can go next to the insightful scientific genius of Michael Behe.

Whose damn fault is that? You would think that you would step back for a moment and worry about the state of your religion when you feel that laws pertaining to "hate" are supposedly your biggest roadblocks.

If you mean "persecution by Christians", than you might actually be right...
Oh, you whiny little WASPs. In my town, the Christian bookstore isn't going anywhere, the Christian sections in Hastings and Barnes & Noble aren't going anywhere, and you'll still be able to go to Wal-Mart at 0200 and find something by a Christian author. Sorry to disappoint you, but they're safe.

YAY! The party's at my place, everyone!
Perhaps you should examine the reasons why people think your Bible promotes hate and intolerence.
P.S. Your Lord just ain't a comin' at all, Eagle632.
Whiny bunch of silly hypocrite frauds, sitting in the most fundie Christian country in the world, inventing persecution to make themselves feel better about how pitiful they are compared to the real Christians being murdered and tortured for their beliefs in foreign lands. What a sad joke these wannabes at RR are.
Umm, bookstores are privately owned and operated. You do remember that "free market" capitalism you fundies say is the best in the world.
Go to a B. Dalton's bookstore. It packed to the brim with fundie and neoconservative titles. It's so bad in fact I won't even go into to one.
What. A. Load. Of. Shit.
The USA has politicians falling over themselves to kiss christian ass, and these idiots still cling to this imaginary conspiracy that is intent on persecuting christians all across the nation. It serves no other purpose than to reinforce the delusion that Jesus is going to come back and take them away to heaven. It's pathetic...
Christianity? Safe. People ranting and railing about the eeeeevil gays and how Leviticus says they should be stoned to death, masquerading as Christianity? That's still hate speech that you're trying to piggyback on the first amendment. Disapprove of my lifestyle all you wish. That's protected. Try and interfere, and I will fight back.

Aaaand... how is this a BAD thing?

I've met & spoken with a survivor of the worst of the Nazis' death factories, Auschwitz. You fundies know NOTHING of persecution (even if 'persecution' of fundies does exist in America today).
Besides, the Bible will still be available in bookshops/libraries - even after all the gaps are filled. It'll just be relegated to the Fiction section, that's all.
I've been in Christian bookstores. The closest thing they have to an "Alternative Religion" section is a load of books on how everyone but them is going to burn in hell.
These goatfuckers just won't be happy until they control absolutely everything. As long as there's someone expressing a dissenting opinion, their work of repression is not done.
I own a second-hand bookstore. We have to severely limit the religious (mostly Christian) books we take in, otherwise we'd get overwhelmed. And a lot of it is such dreck. We used to have the religion and spirituality section sandwiched in between "Horror" and "Science Fiction". People used to get quite a kick out of that.
I hope you weren't holding your breath in waiting for that Lord of yours, or you'll be dead now.
Sweden is one of the least religious countries in the world. All the book stores I've been in have had a Religion section where most of the books were Christian.
Most of the things Jesus (supposedly) said was not hateful, but loving. Sadly most fundies skip those, and focus on the violent and/or discriminatory passages in the OT and what Paul wrote.
US of A is one of the most overtly Christian countries in the world. Not being able to persecute minorities is not to be persecuted, dumbass!
In my local Waterstones, anything Christian is in the Philosophy section.
And when one considers that the only specialist Christian bookshop in Hull closed several years ago - due to lack of interest - then you should take into account the simple concept of Supply and Demand.
There are three specialist Comics/Sci-Fi/Fantasy bookshops in Hull. You do the maths, Ruptured Retards.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
