Paul Rimmer, a former UKIP candidate, has said that Liverpool FC is cursed by God because the club attended this year’s Liverpool Pride.
He said on Facebook: “From the Bible, Sodomy defiles a Nation. Those who promote it will be punished & vomited out of the Land. In 2012 Liverpool FC sponsored the City’s Gay Pride Parade. Unless they repent they will be under a continual curse.
“Liverpool were amazing last year, but the title was denied them.
“Everyone knows homosexuality is wrong, but now we have to pretend its nice and normal and anyone who points out it’s a perversion is evil. This is a deep moral and spiritual sickness in our nation.”
Mr Rimmer stood as a UKIP candidate in 2011 before being kicked out of the party for having been a member of the BNP. He stood for the English Democrats this year and received 60 votes.

I wish Paul Rimmer had stayed in UKIP, just to make sure UKIP is full of wackos and unelectable buffoons and Nigel doesn't become Britführer No.1.
This is a nice little Ashflyesque moment, ignoring cause/effect completely to spew forth on things they don't understand.
Liverpool aren't cursed, they're just not very good. Building a team around an over-rated midfielder, selling their best striker and spending the profits on a bunch of meh players, and having a muppet as a manager aren't directly attributable to Liverpool Pride.
It used to be tough to be too outspoken UKIP, the UK's anti-immigration, anti-Europe party. Recently, they've tried to purge some of their more fringe mouthpieces, as they try, but fail, to move into the mainstream of UK politics. The BNP was even worse, being a thinly disguise, if lightweight, neo-nazi party with everything except the uniforms and the goose-stepping.
I feel a tad sad for Paul Rimmer though, it must be tough to be constantly outshone by his Smeghead brother Arnold....

So they won't be winning any more games right? Or they'll be struck by lightning, or be flushed away in a hurricane?

I trust that Manchester Utd must be the most homophobic team in England, at least in Bonehead's eyes, given that they have been the most successful team in the country since the early '90s. Even if my team (Scunthorpe Utd) start supporting anti-gay organisations I somehow doubt that Sky Daddy will propel them to the top of the table; at present that would require a miracle!
I assumed the UKIP & BNP were basically the same. Now I'm confused. Like someome zapped me with one of those fabled "Muslamic Ray Guns"!
But I'm a dumb American, what can you expect?
However marrying Deity to a sports team is a lot like some folks here in the States do. "DEAR GAWD! PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS TOUCHDOWN!"
@SpukiKitty
The BNP is a horrible racist right wing party who hate foreigners.
UKIP is a horrible racist right wing party who hate foreigners, but also hate the BNP, and worse still, try to look respectable.

Let's see...adjusting for God's aim...holy crap! No wonder the New York Knicks suck so bad this year.
Second i heard UKIP, i could tell where this was going.
I mean, i am sympathetic on the E.U issue but dayum vote conservative and get a referendum rather than ukip to get a tea party state.
@Yossarian Lives
You do realise man utd have been doing shit.
This statement can easily be proved false. Chelsea are doing the best, and they love arseholes. Why else would you hire mourinhio?
Okay, by that logic in the US, the KC Royals should have won the World Series, not the San Francisco Giants.
@commonbloodysense:
Obviously, I am a football fan. One and a half mediocre seasons, by their standards, doesn't detract from the fact that for the past 20-25 years Manchester Utd have been the most successful team in England, winning the most trophies, during a time when homosexuality was becoming less stigmatised (not like that correlation has anything to do with it, but I mentioned it since this UKIP dunce thinks it's relevant). Were you living in a bubble during the Fergie years?
Pfft, I detest Manchester Utd and their (generally) arrogant fans that think by supporting one of the top teams it means that it reflects on them, but I have to give credit where credit is due. Alex Ferguson is one of the best managers in English (and Scottish) football history, and Man Utd have been the team to beat for much of the past few decades.
Confused?
