Dear full blown atheist, I know there is a lot of science out there, but can atheists really fully believe that the cosmos so perfectly supports such a huge and diverse variety of life as a result of random chance?.. Doesn't it seem like this was created to work from the get go? Rather than random chance life appearing from nowhere and evolving and adapting to survive?

an experiment has been done that proves that simple organic molecules can arise in an environment very similar to the theorized conditions of early earth. If we can do it in the lab in a short time, then it can easily happen in a span of millions, even billions of years. And from organic molecules it's only a bit further to simple lifeforms.
Google "Urey and Miller"
Remember that these simple life forms don't have to have had the exact same machinery that modern lifeforms do, they probably used RNA rather then DNA as RNA is simpler and can catalyze it's own replication.
Not a little.
I didn't predict it but when I realized how much of a fluke it is that I am self-aware, i.e. when I became atheist, every moment became so much more profound, all nature more stunning, all women cuter.
"Dear full blown fundie, I know there is a lot of bullshit out there, but can fundies really fully believe that the cosmos so perfectly supports such a huge and diverse variety of life as a result of some big guy who wants a toy full of worshipping sycophants?.. Doesn't it seem like this evolved from natural processes? Rather than life appearing from nowhere due to supernatural tinkering and being tweaked with floods and personal torments?"
You're using that egocentric view again.
Life isn't perfect, and we certainly don't matter in the scheme of things.
So to answer your questions:
Yes.
No.
Oh wait, bad grammar, but still no.
You are so arrogant, you think you can determine the nature of the universe just by arbitrary conclusions.
Appearances can be deceiving.
Example: Water separates from oil, apparently resulting in a more ordered state. In truth, the separation occurs to create MORE chaos.
"Dear full blown atheist, I know there is a lot of science out there, but can atheists really fully believe that the cosmos so perfectly supports such a huge and diverse variety of hydrogen and black holes as a result of natural forces?"
there. fixed.
No.
You are merely overwhelmed by the size of the universe and all that is in it. Your mind can't grasp huge expanses of time so your brain thinks its' not real.
There IS a lot of scientific evidence, why would you fall back on a book of fables and cautionary tales instead of what is told to you? Do you really believe that all scientists in the world are in cahoots just to make you look dumb? If your smarts equaled your paranoia you'd be doing all right.
Random chance made the mutations. Natural selection kept the mutations that was beneficial to the species at that time and place. That would explain many of the small errors in our genetic set up and our anatomy - since the species was able to procreate, the errors were minor.
If a perfect being created everything from scratch, with intelligence and trial-and-error (Noah and the flood), then we would be much more error-free and designed.
Having the esophagus and the trachea so close to each other is not a perfect design. I sometimes choke on saliva (and get to feel really stupid when everyone stares at me).
Why do we have the genes for producing Vitamin-C, but they're not turned on?
Why are our brains in an "appendix" to the body, easy to cut off?
Why do we have a blind spot in the eye?
No, it does not seem like this was created.
Where did your god come from, who created him/her/it?
Actually, it's variety that convinces me of adaptation and evolution. If everything was just created, why would there be so many different species of, say, trees for example? Wouldn't one do as well as another?
If your religion is so obviously correct why are there so many versions of it and so many other religions, beliefs and philosiphies? Why is your religions history one of forceful conversion and atrocities against resistance? Shouldn't it be completely acceptable by all without force?
In other words: Where do you get off claiming, without one shred of evidence, that YOUR God is obvious?
Dear deluded creationist fuckoff,
Only one known planet out of the hundreds of billions in the galaxy is known to support life. That is a terrible success rate.
Sincerely,
Somehow who wishes you knew better
Call me cynical, but I do not believe that you are asking these questions because you honestly want answers. I think you are just asking them in the vain hope that doing so will make knowledgeable people feel uncomfortable.
I can accept your ignorance but your insincerity...that rankles me.
Such a huge and diverse variety of life...
1) That all has DNA and no other method of preserving traits.
2) That has vastly different creatures sharing more than half their DNA coding.
3) That can fit on one planet out of hundreds of billions.
4) That is not sustainable, even if humans never had technology.
5) That is given energy by a big burning ball of cancer generation.
6) That has to depend on eating each other.
7) That, when it passes, will cause the rest of the universe to not give a fuck.
Confused?
