Get this fact buddy, we have never really seen a world full of atheist. Imagine if our world never had a god. Death count, you couldn't even imagine. Government would be insane and would be the wicked. Religion has saved our society throughout time. Before Moses, the world was a brutal place. It set our human race in the right direction.
There is always evil, some will pose as Christians, others will pose as Muslims trying to make religion evil. This could be Satans plan and God's test.

I love how he includes those last two sentences apparently intended as a pre-emptive defense against the various points already raised here, basically saying, "Even if religion also has been brutal and evil and oppressive, it isn't necessarily religion's fault -- it could be Satan's idea, with God's permission."

Yes, the Crusades were caused by Christians, but even more currently, this "war on terrorism" is actually a modern holy war against Islam. My god is better than your god. Now if there was no religion...there would be no holy wars!
I can't imagine the death count on this planet and governments are already corrupt with too much power.
I also like how when Satan does something evil, he means it, but when God does something like that, he's just "testing" us.

Imagine if our world never had religious wars. The death count would be so low, you couldn't even imagine. Governments would be secular and sane. Religion has destroyed societies throughout time. After Moses, the world was a brutal place. It set our human race in several contradicting directions.
Religion makes itself evil, all on its own.

Yeah, Moses really contributed to helping it not be such a brutal place. Just ask the Midianites and Amalekites what they thought of Moses, how he saved their society.
Oh, wait, you can't, Moses slaughtered them. All of them. After slaughtering all of the males, he didn't have enough slaughtering, so he went back and slaughtered the women, children, infants, and animals, but kept 32,000 virgins to be raped later.
Wow, after Moses, things were great, he really "set the human race in the right direction", right?
We know the Enlightenment was one of the key events to developing Democracies and free peoples. We know there were still wars as many were territorial or acts of desperation or ideology, that last one because we still had Christianity and other religions, look at the warhawk mentality and where it's seated in America today. Atheism ISN'T an ideology, it's the none belief in God, by itself, the non-belief doesn't stop us from being vicious animals either, AND NEITHER DOES RELIGION.
Our world couldn't survive five madman, messagers of God Moses' mentality. and there's a few of those freaks still about.
