Religion was made to answer people questions. Christianity is a way of life! You didn't read the bible, you probally opened it and said "Forget this shit, lets go be an ass with my friends who are aslo assholes."

Religion WAS made to answer people['s] questions. Whether it does so successfully or not is a matter of debate (big hint though: no).
Christianity IS a way of life. But then again, so is alcoholism and grifting. Doesn't make them good, relevant, or worthy of praise.
And, honestly, you are assuming that they didn't read the Bible at all, basically just accusing of being lazy, unintelligent, as well as a liar, while explicitly calling him an "asshole" as well. You're a real peach. Learn that kind of manners from the Bible, or was it just a slip up, which will be shortly remedied by a trip to the prayer closet?

I'll admit I've never read it in its entirety. Mostly because I can't get past the bullshit, ignorance and outright insanity in the first few sentences of Genesis. Makes it kind of hard to take the rest seriously.

Heagy, you have no idea what religion is, why it exists, and what's it for. Read a book on comparative religions, study their histories, learn something.
My atheist/agnostic/deist friends aren't assholes. Funnily enough, the Christians* I know are.

OMG, the OP seems to know my life better then I do, that's EXACTLY how it happened. But after I was done being an ass with my asshole friends I had some free time so I did end up reading it. That's when I found out it was completely rubbish.
