I also don't really understand it. I guess people only pay so much attention to these theories because they assume that those scientists which come up with them know what they do.
What I noticed is that many atheists, I don't know if this is one of their tactics, are trying to make it look like evolutionists are simply too dumb to really understand the evolutionary theory and this is the reason why they think it's silly.

The ToE? Well, you could put some effort into it. There are LOADS of books that dumb it down for easy access by non-biologists.

Oh, my god, ask one. Ask a biologist how they know that Crocodiles are X many years old. They just won’t stop exlaining it to you.
I mean, ask me about a leap second, I’ll talk for two days if you let me. Ask an exert about their field, then sit the fuck down.

Second as others note, this ONLY makes sense if you meant to say ‘creationists’ up there.
But that’s not OUR tactic.
CREATIONISTS post about ‘an explosion of nothing’ being part of evolution and all we have to do is FUCKING POINT OUT that they don’t understand evolutionary theory.

They START with the conclusion that it’s silly and then try to make it look silly to everyone else. And shove their foot deeply into their own mouths.
