A worldview that totally dismisses God puts the final authority on Man.
WHen the final authority rests on Man, it is changing, arbitrary, and creates a Hitler. And if you proclaim no other authority than Man, then like you said, it comes down to who has the biggest gun?

Well, on EARTH the final authority is man, anyway. All these people telling each other what THEIR god wants them to do. If there are any gods, they seem to be sitting that fight out.

Yes. Of course, people claiming that their god has authority did nothing to make morality stable, rational, or prevent Hitler.

What we tend to see is that the bigger armies, with better supply lines, and more allies, tend to win, no matter which God they worship, huh?
If it were about, for example, taking Christa s authority, then it wouldnt have mattered how many forces we committed to Viet Nam, we’d have won. But we didn’t.
