Yes, the news is depressing, and sometimes I have to take a break from it. But my children are at very impressionable ages. I have to keep up with current events enough to explain why so much of what is going on is wrong to us Christians, and why the liberals' plan for America is destroying the freedoms this country was founded on.
Even more depressing is the fact that thanks to the Obama economy and liberal policies, I have just been laid off for the second time in three months.

The American economy gets run into the ground for eight years under Bush, yet the mess is Obama's fault, even though he has only been president for three months.
Massive Economics 101 fail.
Right, I'm sure that both bosses said, "We're sorry, but due to the fact that Obama is trying to help stimulate the economy, we have to let you go."
Obama hasn't even been in OFFICE for three months, you fucking idiot, and NONE of his economic policies have yet been put ionto place.
Your grinning chimp of a hero, Bush, ran up more deficit than all 43 presidents before him combined, cut taxes on corporations retroactively back to 1988, and cut taxes for the super-rich so he could stick people like YOU with the bill. He deregulated everything he could get his hands on, while sumultaneously trampling on our consitutional rights. That's where your freedoms went.
If you pull your head out of your ass for five minutes and turn off Fox News, you might see that Obama is trying to restore your "freedom" and repair the mess,
"Even more depressing is the fact that thanks to the Obama economy and liberal policies..."
Great Jiminy Jillickers, Batman, these people will lie about *anything*!

I suppose if you're such a worthless incompetent that you can't hang onto a job for more than 8 weeks, it isn't surprising that you didn't notice that in the last 8 years, Bush destroyed the economy, spent YOUR social security funds on a war of adventure in the middle east, and went from having the biggest surplus in US history under Clinton, to the biggest debt in US history. I suppose I should be glad you're not blaming Clinton anymore, and you've moved on.
While it's true that the current recession pretty much happened on George W. Bush's watch, you might not want to be pointing fingers at the Federal budget deficit during his years in office -- unless you'd like to be reminded of the record-breaking Federal deficit that Obama's current stimulus package is creating.
Um.. Inaguaration was January 20th, it's March 27th, that TWO months. I am sorry you have lost two jobs in 3 months, that's hard on anyone, but I really don't how it Obama's fault.

Name three that weren't already trampled by the "Patriot" act, and don't involve your freedom to force your doctrine down other people's throats.
Never mind, just name three.
[I have to keep up with current events enough to explain why so much of what is going on is wrong to us Christians...]
For example?

The day "the liberals" pass something even remotely like the Patriot Act, you'll have room to talk.
[Even more depressing is the fact that thanks to the Obama economy and liberal policies, I have just been laid off for the second time in three months.]
1) Bullshit. Obama's "liberal policies" have barely begun to be implemented. We're months, if not years, away from seeing their results.
2) If you can't hold a job for three months...I'm thinking that it doesn't have anything to do with who's in the white house at the time.

And its only going to get worse when you are still here in another 20 years.
It sucks about your job, and I really am sorry about that. But you know, Obama hasn't even been in office for three months and you're blaming your layoff on him? Lady, he hasn't had time to do anything.
"Even more depressing is the fact that thanks to the Obama economy and liberal policies, I have just been laid off for the second time in three months."
Ummm, you do know who was president three months ago. Right????

It wasn't the liberals who wrecked the economy. It was greedy, self-serving conservatives and the idiot policies of the Bush-league administration they got elected. The bubble they blew up for 8 years just happened to pop after Obama got elected.
OMFG you found out my LIBERAL plan to destroy the nation because that's what liberalism means!
You deserve to be laid off as you aren't worth shit to this job market if you can't perform basic math (Obama's only been in office for a couple months and Bush took a trillion surplus and turned it into the same amount of debt).
3 months ago, Obama wasn't in office, so the first time was due to Bush's administration anyways...
Then again, logic and Rapture Ready posters go together like oil and water...even though they may come into contact, one is always over the head of the other...
Obama economy? He's been in office nine weeks, for cryin' out loud!
National Debt when Clinton took office: $3.5 trillion
National Debt when Clinton left office: $5.7 trillion
Total amount borrowed under liberal Clinton: $2.2 trillion ($275 million a year)
National Debt when Bush took office: $5.7 trillion
National Debt when Bush left office: $10.6 trillion
Total amount borrowed under conservative Bush: $4.9 trillion ($613 million a year)
Amount borrowed in Bush's last year in office: $1.4 trillion
And all of a sudden, the Republicans have started whining about how much money we're borrowing!
You guys are getting the wrong end of the stick. She clearly thinks bush was the liberal. Just stop. Think about that. That feeling you feel, the one like your chair is trying to get up your arse, well that fear
Yes, the news is depressing, and sometimes I have to take a break from it. But my children are at very impressionable ages. Even more depressing is the fact that thanks to the wreckage left by the Bush economy and conservative policies, we have had several rounds of layoffs.
Fixed.
Do you imagine that people listening to fundie lies and fantasy think to themselves, "Yes, very perspicacious indeed"? Or do you imagine that they think, "Oh my. To what unprecedented level of ignomy has the once noble Republican party lowered itself to if it now associates with this bunch of drivelling morons and liars"? Perhaps you could consider those questions sherrimae before you regale your fellow Rapture Readians with more bullshit.
January to September... oh, about 7.5 months.
Events of Bush's first September in office: fault of previous administration.
January to March... 2 months.
Events of those two months, and all the economic policies preceeding those two months: fault of current administration.
As the former vice-president would say, "Go fuck yourself."
"I have just been laid off for the second time in three months."
Actually that's called being fired. Do a better job and they'll keep you on.
(I am, of course, being facetious, I'm well aware that hard working, intelligent people have lost jobs thanks to Bush's superb economy management skills. Sherrimae doesn't strike me as a hard working, intelligent person though and I'd wager she was fired for incompetence rather than laid off).
Where have you been the last eight years? Aw, fuck that; where have you been the last six months?
The economy callapsed while Bush was still in office, numbnuts.
Um, Obama hasn't been president for long enough for it to be his fault. It was your last dumbass leader
that and you probably got laid off because you were preaching too much and they got sick of you
no, you got laid off because 1. you suck at your job or 2. the economy is in a shit hole because of your almighty Bush. Obama is actully doing something, hell not only am I a proud democrat but I'm just glad someones doing something to fix our shit hole of a economy.
Nice kvetching, sherrimae, but given the degree that the former President of the U.S.A, ran your country into the ground, debtwise, is it any wonder that the U.S economy is now tanking like mad...
Or would you have preferred, that no Federal money be used to slow the decline, with the result that major U.S corporations, such as G.M & Ford go under, & millions of jobs are lost as a result, possibly for good...
Or maybe you were laid off because you are an incompetent idiot?
If you keep being laid off, maybe it's time to consider that you may be the problem.
The liberals' plan is what's preserving the freedoms that your country was founded on, silly.
I was laid off in 2009 too - just in time for my 40th birthday - thanks to the hole in the world's economy that Dubbya Shrub caused. Guess how much I celebrated that year...
In early 2009, Obama's policies hadn't had time to cause any effect yet, dumbass.
Confused?
