In conclusion, non-Muslims cannot provide an INTELLECTUAL AND RATIONAL argument against the Islamic law regarding the killing of apostates. They can only provide EMOTIONAL and SUBJECTIVE arguments.
However, Muslims let their rationality overcome their emotions and don't fall for these silly appeal to emotion arguments. That is probably the main reason why we are Muslims.
In conclusion, the Muslim should keep his head up and confidently say:
OF COURSE APOSTATES SHOULD BE KILLED!

Of course you should say that so that all under heaven may recognize Islam's negative traits.
I am aware of Nalanda's destruction, of the week-long burning of its libraries, of the burning alive of its 10,000 monks.
In conclusion, non-Muslims cannot provide an INTELLECTUAL AND RATIONAL argument against the Islamic law regarding the killing of apostates. They can only provide EMOTIONAL and SUBJECTIVE arguments.
Sure we can. You start killing apostates and they start killing you. What, you actually think oppressed people don't fight back? Plus it gives ammo to extremist Christians (people like you, only Christian) who want nothing more than to have an excuse to kill Muslims. See Free Republic for reference.
However, Muslims let their rationality overcome their emotions and don't fall for these silly appeal to emotion arguments.
Islam is not rational. It's a faith-based religion like all of the others. simply claiming it to be rational does not make it so.
In conclusion, the Muslim should keep his head up and confidently say:
OF COURSE APOSTATES SHOULD BE KILLED!
And watch as millions of people in non-oppressive parts of the world leave your religion in disgust. And, again, the Christian version of you starts gearing up to attack you.
First, provide an INTELLECTUAL AND RATIONAL argument for the existence of your god and the validity of your religion.

Let's hear your INTELLECTUAL AND RATIONAL argument against the biblical law regarding the killing of heathens.
@Crimson Ghost:
Be sure you have a book by Pam Gellar and Robert Spencer stacked on top of a Koran which is sitting on the ground with dog poo under it.
LOL @Johannes9126. Though not a supporter of castration day, I can certain see how this OP is a candidate. I'm sure his CFG, I beleive is the acronym, will be sure he is not made made breeding stock.
"However, Muslims let their rationality overcome their emotions and don't fall for these silly appeal to emotion arguments. That is probably the main reason why we are Muslims.
In conclusion, the Muslim should keep his head up and confidently say:
OF COURSE APOSTATES SHOULD BE KILLED!"
'Should? One word in your statement that proves how you & your ilk let your emotions overcome your rationality (as in you don't see the majority of normal, decent Muslims speaking, acting or thinking like you) and don't fall for your stupid appeal to doctrine arguments (that and your emotional use of capslock; that's extremely telling). Just one word completely annihilates your argument; especially as you Islamists always bang on & on about, 'Allah the Merciful ':
Why?
"In conclusion, non-Muslims cannot provide an INTELLECTUAL AND RATIONAL argument against the Islamic law regarding the killing of apostates. They can only provide EMOTIONAL and SUBJECTIVE arguments."
Would you like to be killed? No? Well then, I guess we can agree that you shouldn't go killing others then as they also probably don't want to be killed.
"However, Muslims let their rationality overcome their emotions and don't fall for these silly appeal to emotion arguments. That is probably the main reason why we are Muslims."
The main reason you're Muslims is the same reason most people are their chosen religion: because your parents were. And your parents' reason for being Muslim is the same: because their parents were. It has nothing to do with rationality, it's just blind obedience to tradition and a healthy dose of brainwashing in the early years.
"In conclusion, the Muslim should keep his head up and confidently say:
OF COURSE APOSTATES SHOULD BE KILLED!"
You are an apostate of every world religion but Islam. Should you be killed for it?
Here's a rational argument. Fear of execution for apostasy is likely to deter unbelievers from converting to Islam in the first place.
Not that Islam is rational in the first place, but, you asked.
Bassam Zawadi, go back in your padded room, put your straitjacket and take yours pills!
And does your definition of apostates include heretics?
It a very dangerous individual the FBI should watch.
Thank you, for reminding us where Moslem terrorists come from. I hope you're proud of yourself, goatfucker.
Anyone else disturbed by the parallels to Jewish and Christian fundies? I am.
In conclusion, non-Muslims cannot provide an INTELLECTUAL AND RATIONAL argument against the Islamic law regarding the killing of apostates... that I will allow to penetrate my deep-seated and egregiously mentally ill denial.
There. Fixed that for you.
1. Every non-suicidal human being and animal has an instinct for self-preservation, and therefore does not want to die.
2. Furthermore, most humans are afraid to die.
3. Most humans do not define themselves as apostates; this is a label applied by an outside party. This is a subjective opinion, and since humans lie, it is also subject to misuse and abuse.
4. If you kill someone, you are depriving them of the rest of their life, and you cannot reverse the process. You are therefore taking something that does not belong to you, that you cannot return. You are stealing.
You may now put your head back in the sand.
You have just effing insulted those of my friends, colleagues, and two former spouses, who are or (iin the case of the deceased) were Muslim. You have given fuel to the Gellers and Breiviiks of the world. You may have instigated the murders of God knows how many of your innocent co-religionists. And now, go claim your reward. Your pigsty awaits your occupancy, and your first meal of raw ground pork will be delivered soon.
[i ...Muslims let their rationality overcome their emotions ...
They do this very subtly, so no one will notice.
I hate to say it, but he's right.
There IS a rational reason for muslims to kill apostates.
Namely, if they kill apostates, it will result in less competition for them.
Interesting how the big three monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) all have text explicitly calling for the killing of apostates (Deuteronomy 13:9) and the razing of their cities (Deuteronomy 13:15).
Of course, a benevolent deity would never call for the death of entire peoples for the sake of his own vanity.
Therefore the deity in question must be nonexistent, or evil.
@ #1441298 :
Well, technically, Deuteronomy 13 doesn't mandate the death penalty for apostasy per se . It merely mandates the death penalty for non-Yahweh evangelism. You can get away with being an apostate under Deuteronomy 13 so long as you don't try to recruit anyone else.
"However, Muslims let their rationality overcome their emotions and don't fall for these silly appeal to emotion arguments. That is probably the main reason why we are Muslims. "
I swear I haven't laughed this hard in weeks. Yes we all saw how rational Muslims can be, Muslims like you that is, when a cartoonist drew a humorous picture of your prophet and the military tossed copies of the Qur'an in the dumpster. Lets not forget Salman Rushdie. And on and on and on...
So, the intellectual and rational argument to kill non-Muslims is "OF COURSE"?
I think you need to repeat your education on logic and reason and, well, everything.
one word: though crime.
that is all.
Our Constitution spells out the right to follow and practice whatever religion you want, because our founding fathers realized that people running around persecuting and killing other people for having different religious beliefs is not good for society. It's a better idea to say "live and let live." It works well for us here in the U.S., so why can't it work for everyone else? How's that for intellectual and rational?
Since you clearly value arguments that are intellectual and rational above those that are emotional and subjective, please supply your intellectual and rational reasoning why apostates should be killed.
Don't forget to include intellectual and rational reasons why said apostates shouldn't be killing you.
Jesus tittyfucking christ, it's like this guy is living in a world where every day is opposite day. Completely, utterly, totally fucked in the head. And bloodthirsty to boot. A dangerously disturbed human being that should be kept under surveillance.
I'm seeing a lot of people claiming to be apostates because they aren't (and never were) Muslim. You're not. An apostate is someone who was part of a religion, but is no longer. For instance, because I was raised Catholic, but am not Catholic now, I am an apostate in regards to the Catholic Church.
A heretic (another word I'm seeing thrown around) is someone who believes in a religion, but supports opinions that differ from it. Sticking with the Catholic theme, Protestants were heretics. While they believed in Christianity in general, they disagreed with the Catholic church over various things.
Those of us who aren't and never have been Muslim are either pagans , heathens , or, in polite conversations, simply unbelievers.
Edit: @Saringuy
one word: though crime.
Technically, that's two words.
Confused?
