[About the use of the word 'kind' by creationists and its meaning]
kinds can means whatever we want it to mean depending on the topic of discussion.
so whatever supports the idea that there is a God and He created the world, then that is what we will go with.

In fact, we should also redefine words like "create", and "support", and heck, "God" while we're at it.
Trouble is, nothing supports the idea. If you define "kind" too narrowly, there's no way the Ark could have held them all; if you define it too loosely you're arguing that evolution occurred on a *faster* scale than is possible.
I'm sure that this had an award before. Anyway, how about, for an award, the "Collective Solipism" award (name borrowed from a quote in 1984).
Gadzooks, talk about an honest admission of blatant dishonesty!
That's got to be the absolute pinnacle of fundyism right there: "My words mean nothing in particular except that I'm right and you're wrong, nyah-nyah."
Since the Fundamentalism in a Nutshell Award has been given to another (disturbingly equally deserving) entry, perhaps this one could be given the "Sophistry Grand Prize," or the "Invincible Fundie Argument Award," or something similar. It DEFINITELY deserves a good descriptive award of some "kind"!

I dub this the "Humpty Dumpty" argument.
Okay, I gotta go. It's brillig and I've got some toves gyring and gimbaling in the wabe. They look kind of slithy, so I better get the hose...
This is hardly news to anyone. Its when you apply the same semantic fluidity to words like "evolution," "science," "theory," and "logic," that I, for one, have a problem.

I think it's safe to say that fundies have already redefined God several times over.
Humpty-Dumpty to Alice: "A word means precisely what I wish it to mean, nothing more and nothing less ..."
Yeah, Fundies have all gone down the rabbit hole, or through the mirror to la-la land.
The problem they have with the fundie method. Yes, creationists will never define kind, ever, they'll never narrow the definition down even near the level that species is defined.
But many fundies are stupid and admit to the goalpost moving or special rules for them game
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
