[A "libertarian" argues for deporting illegal immigrants even if they're raising children who are citizens]
would you consider it a selfish act to move illegally to a country you might get deported from soley to increase your own income and living standards- and then have kids?
A LOT of kids?
what a shitty thing to do, from the childrens' perspective

This is really not fundie at all. The real problem with this statement is that he thinks it's a simple, easy solution to a problem that requires just a little more compassion than he's showing.
He's an asshole, but not necessarily a fundie.
Just to raise their income? Not at all. A lot of times, when they emigrate is because they found LITERALLY no opportunities here, and when they did have some job opportunity, it was so underpaid that it was literally not even enough to stay alive.
They risk death and deporting because even with that danger, it is safer than staying here.
Getting a gazillion kids is not a good move, though, one or two might help them anchor themselves due to their kids not being illegal and whatnot, but having 5 or more is quite exagerated and might bring them a lot of trouble, though.

How is it a shitty thing from the childrens' perspective assuming these people were going to have the children in any case? Are you saying these filthy foreigners should not have any children? I think having them in a country where they are likely to have a better life is a pretty good move from the childrens' perspective.
The person is trying to get a better life you cunt. How about you practice what you preach, and just go live on the streets. Only eat enough to survive. No eating anything you like.
Face it, asshole, anything you do is ultimately selfish.
Graham, here's something you should know.
1,000 years ago, there was no "United States" but this continent was occupied. Several centuries ago, people came here from Europe. They were the first illegal immigrants, but they came seeking a better life. This country was built by illegal immigrants seeking a better life. Several centuries later, morons like you started ranting against illegal immigrants trying to seek a better life.
Given the circumstances surrounding the origin of this nation, I don't think we have a right to chase people out of the country on a whim. We can certainly keep out potentially violent criminals, but we would be hypocrites if we told ordinary people not to cross our borders.
What we need is a faster an easier system of legal immigration. How about we build checkpoints on the border. Anyone who comes to one of the checkpoints can file an application for legal status in the US. Once the application is in, a background check is performed on that person. If it comes up clean, that person is granted a visa. After a certain period of time, the visa is upgraded to a green card, and eventually citizenship. The visa can be taken away automatically if the person is convicted of a crime, but barring criminal acts, anyone can get a visa and eventually citizenship.
The reason there are so many illegal immigrants is because it's too hard to come here legally. Being an illegal immigrant means spending your life in fear of deportation, bars you from quite a number of jobs, and makes you vulnerable to exploitation, but people do it because getting "the papers" is just too hard.
Confused?
