(on Obama's victory)
i am secretly terrified. I know that God is long suffering but this election has been a complete slap in the face to our Lord.
I can only imagine what awaits America..

Unless, you know, God voted for Obama too.
How many prayers for him to lose have to go unanswered before you start wondering if you're just plain wrong about it?
If McCain had won, the RR crowd would be crowing about how God made it happen. But since Obama won, God must have been standing powerless on the sidelines. No matter what happened, they'd have found a way to delude themselves into believing God agreed with them.
Yeah, and the religious right deserves that slap and then some.
I guess Barack Hussein Obama came along in his iron chariot and whumped up on your god.
And I voted for him.
Considering the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, extended President-elect Obama congratulations and is (what appears to be) trying to open dialogue with the US, I'd be pretty terrified as well.
Oh wait, I'm not Bush-loving, world-hating, close-minded fuckstick. I'm not terrified, but instead excited about the prospect that Iran may not, one day, fire missiles at the country I live in because our president isn't a halfwit.
Whew! I was scared there for a minute...
Wow, you guys over at RR have no faith at all. I thought God was supposed to choose the person best suited for the country on November 4th?
Fair-weather Christians as well as fair-weather patriots, I see. How charming.
No, it has been just a slap in the face of you rapturists and other fundamentalist christians.
Maybe this is a message of the lord that he is sick of your fundamentalism
and your hope of Jesus bringing you into heaven on a white horse,
instead of being eager to face the hardships of life on earth ;)

Don't worry, he likes getting slapped in the face hard. He also likes it if you call him your little bitch too.
Yeah, we all know your god hates compassion, equality, respect, tolerance, democracy, mercy, hope, and everything else that motivated people to vote for Barack.
God hates the idea that humans can change things for the better.
I've never encountered "thought" so backwards as I have in these RR fundie fucktards. Even as much as I think no human life is worthless, they're sure as fuck working hard to change my mind.
It's almost as I can imagine this god character sitting in front of his 105" plasma HD TV watching FOX News election coverage and fuming at the mouth over all the ungodly voters.
I just didn't know that Direct TV covered Heaven too...
I can only imagine what awaits America.
I imagine 4 years of hard work undoing all the damage committed by the Bush administration. I imagine the country will be in better shape by 2012. And I imagine that you Raptards will be seething with bitter frustration when Obama gets reelected.
Can't wait. :D
@michael: So do I and I hope that they come to pass, even though my inner cynic is setting me up for disappointment.
@blah: No, it's encouraging, and I hope that all that does happen.
I voted for Obama, but I would not want to be in the man's shoes right now. With the expectations for his presidency high enough as they are and the mess as big as it is, I won't be surprised if his hair will have turned completely grey by the end of his term.
Well, the Majority punked you raptards and your god.
America eagerly awaits a return to the Constitution, and Justice to the neocon pirates.

Are you not the very same people who have spent the last eight years braying about how "god" himself chooses our leaders and that nothing happens if it is not "god's" will? Yet now you turn around and insinuate the the american electorate can not only subvert "god's" will but also slap him in his non-existant face?
Get your fucking story straight, Is your "god" an all powerful, omnipotent entity whose will shapes the course of human events, or is he an impotent whelp who's mighty will can be thwarted by a mere 50.01% majority? And what makes you so sure that the ascencion of Barack Obama to the presidency was not the will of your "god"? Are you claiming to have special insight and knowledge into the mind and thoughts of your "god"? That sure sounds like blasphemy to me.
Dear God,
Stop hitting yourself.
