You treat the Warren Commission as fact when over 80 percent of the public doesn't buy it. Hell the only logical purpose for any independent commission for any crime can only be for a cover up, since as I mentioned with 9/11 it is the responsibility of the Department of Justice to issue indictments, not some handpicked tools that operate under the intimidation of the very suspects of the crime (hence they don't actually do indictments, they are just to mislead the public).

There are a lot of things about 9/11 and its aftermath that don't quite seem to add up. In particular, the war afterward and the enormous, unchecked grab of executive power seem almost too convenient. That said, Hanlon's Razor is still in full effect: "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. "
I do believe many of the warning signs of the 9/11 attacks were purposely ignored or dismissed because they were not individually seen as a "significant" threat, and there was not enough communication across security agencies to put all the little pieces of the puzzle together to clearly see that they did pose a threat. However, as Hanlon's Razor suggests, that is an act of incompetence, not malice.
Given the previous administration's handling of the economy, its so-called "War on Terror", and Hurricane Katrina, it's pretty clear they were likely too incompetent to carry out an "inside job" on the scale of 9/11 for the purpose of furthering an agenda for war and control. More importantly, though, there is simply no solid evidence to support such a claim, even if they did have the capacity to do it. The Bush administration simply saw an opportunity after 9/11 and took advantage of it, milking it for all it was worth. That requires far less competence than orchestrating or willfully allowing an attack beforehand.
The Warren Commission Report is most assuredly full of lies, deception, and just good ol' American-style bullshit. Majority opinion to the contrary does not change official status.
As far as 9/11 is concerned, this sums it up nicely...

Haha, NO.
I suppose they cover up airliner crashes too? DESPITE THAT BEING IMPOSSIBLE?
You're part of the problem with have with this country today-if people like you didn't exist, the Tea Party would have never formed.
In my case, a simple, intentional allowing of it to happen is enough for me. No need for coverups, just certain people in the highest places to intentionally look the other way.
Most of the 9/11 conspiracy theories are BS. My favorite one involves holographic airplanes, C-4 explosives placed in the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, and secret helicopters that scattered faked wreckage at all the various sites.
80 percent of the public may believe in a bull shit conspiracy, but 100 percent of the evidence provided by the Warren Commission and provided since has shown the conclusion the Warren Commission came to was correct.
How many of the people in that 80 percent believe it because of the lies in Oliver Stone's garbage movie?
All of the 9/11 conspiracy theories are bull shit too.
Even for LIHOP to be true--which some comments here seem to indicate as having some validity--a break from reality as there would be too many people involved. The Bush Administration could not keep anything secret.
You treat the Warren Commission as fact when over 80 percent of the public doesn't buy it.
Even if that statistic were accurate, the number of people believing in something doesn't make it true or not. If that's the case, then full moons really do make people crazy.
38% of Republicans still believe Obama is a foreign-born Muslim, despite all evidence to the contrary, and a surprising percentage of Americans think Elvis is still alive. Public opinion proves nothing.
Confused?
