I do. I remember that both of the shooters were raised in Christian households. There has been no conclusive evidence that they had embraced atheism.

High-profile mass shootings in schools didn't begin until ~1997 (Pearl, MS), and subsided after several years (though, tragically, they still do occur).
At what point was "God removed from public schools?" Was it before 1997?
I'm also curious--why mention Columbine? The school shooting in Padukah, KY took place at a student-lead (Xtian) prayer session. Though the gunman never gave a religious motivation for that shooting either, AFAIK.
