@MellisAmada, nobody really wants to see Hitler in a Speedo. According to the Nov 1943 OSS report, he had short spindly legs, big butt, flabby muscles, sunken chest and bad teeth.
He did choose homosexual soldiers for bodyguards and chauffeurs, according to the same report. His own sexuality was freakish; the four women he had some sort of relationship with all committed suicide, Geli Raubal with his own sidearm.
Ernst Roehm (SA) was gay, but I don't think that was the reason for him receiving the Long Knife; according to Hanfstaengl (IIRC), he publicly, in Hitler's presence, stated that Adolf liked watching the peasant women bending over in the fields..."especially the ones with the big round butts. What a man!" (Roehm)
Hitler was not happy with that.
Also, those who were incarcerated for homosexuality were those with public reputations. The Gestapo were much overrated as to their own capacity for big brotherism, but they relied on informants. If the homophobes had an axe to grind, well, just cook up a story for the Gestapo.
