Quote# 2428

God never intended for man to venture out into space on his own. That's why the shuttle blew up. There is also a very scientific and historical reason why no astronaut ever died IN SPACE.

As I recall, there are still a few dead cosmonauts floating around up there.

@gargoyle1

I think that's a myth, but who really knows for sure?(Other than the Russians)

Right - god blew up an orbital space shuttle, but was perfectly happy for us to go to the fucking moon and back several times without anyone dying whilst up there. The logic is clear - god only hates reusable spacecraft!

I don't get it at all. What were all the other shuttles and spacecraft doing?

Translation: God never intended for man to do stuff that I will never get to do because I am a tard.

Obviously he doesn't want you to go there, that's why he put all that stuff there. The 10 hexillion other stars are just for decoration.

Two shuttles (Challenger and Columbia) out of all of these? And Columbia doesn't even count, it was returning from orbit.

I'd say there is more evidence he wanted us to go out into space. That is, if you believe he exists...

"God never intended for man to venture out into space on his own. That's why the shuttle blew up."

So why didn't the Vostok-1 vehicle sending up Yuri Gagarin blow up?

He was on his own. [/hyper-smartarse]

"There is also a very scientific and historical reason why no astronaut ever died IN SPACE."

Laika, the first Terran lifeform in space, would like a word with you.

...oh yes, that's right. He's dead. Can you say 'Phantom Cosmonauts'? I know you can.

...and the scientific reason why no astronaut has died in space is because of the ingenuity of NASA's flight engineers who saved messrs. Lovell, Swigert & Haise from dying of carbon dioxide poisoning; fitting a round peg in a square hole, re. the improvised air scrubber.

How scientific and historical can you get, KJVstickupyourarse? Unless of course, you're suggesting that no man has gone up in space. Ever. [/CTSTDT]
