It's called the " Off Switch ", and all televisions come equipped with one. try digging out the manual that came with your TV and finding the " Off Switch " on your television, and then fucking use it!

Of course we'll ignore what the Bible says about it; it's an ancient-old text, written by goat-herders and has no impact on today's life. It says nothing about computers, mobile phones, cars, central heating, nuclear power, the internet, etc.
Have you read all of those books/seen all of those TV-series? How else can you know it's trash and garbage? Buffy is meant to look stupid at first, you have to realize that the dialog is more important than the vampires. Harry Potter is basically a Christian allegory, at least it's written by a Christian.
We do not "endorse" homosexuality, any more than we "endorse" left-handedness, or short-sightedness, blondity or blue-eyedness. It's just the way you are born, no point in bitching about it.
I bet there's at least one mention in the Bible where a man leaves/throws out one of his wives because she displeases him, which would mean that the Bible "endorse" divorce too.

I am going to agree with others that Buffy kicks arse, was one of the best TV series of recent history, and is a much better moral guide than your slavery-endorsing, pro-torture, genocidal, intolerant, rape apologist Bible.
So yes, please do just ignore it and get on with your life. I have to every time you call me, a friend or relative an unholy abomination worthy of execution.
PS - anyone remember the Buffy episode where it turned out the upstanding pillar-of-the-community foster mother was a fundie who had abused all her foster kids to try and stop them becoming sexually active? And Giles told her she was the most awful monster he'd ever seen? That should be mandatory viewing for RR folks.
@Elia: I think it was season 5, but I can't recall which one. Around the time the show was starting to focus more on actual horrors, whether directly or through metaphor, anyway. Good stuff. I might try and find it.
BTW, I rewatched Dark Angel recently, and it wasn't as great as I had remembered... Still much better than anything on the dozens of Christian networks, but a mild disappointment.

I looked it up though: I probably couldn't remember the rest of the storyline because there wasn't much. It's "Where The Wild Things Are ", S04E18. When fucking Riley was in it, and also what Buffy did all the time (ba-doom TISH).
I hate Riley. And it seems I'm not alone: When I googled to find the episode, the first result was "Why does everyone hate Riley, Andrew and Kennedy?"
