I think atheism is harmful to society and an abuse of the first amendment, like shouting "Fire" in a theater.
And screaming; "Rapture!" or shouting; "Convert or go to hell!" is acceptable?

There is so much fail here that it’s difficult to unpack it all. I’ll try though:
- Atheism is a lack of belief in God or gods. It falls squarely under freedom of religion, and has nothing whatsoever to do with speech
- If an atheist chooses to air the reasons for his non-belief, that speech is protected by the First Amendment – without question!
- Atheism doesn’t pose a public health risk, so your comparison is garbage.
And one place it most certaily doesn't belong, and most certainly is deletrious is on the battlefield where morale and faith is everything to the mind of a soldier.
Tell that to the US Department of Defense, which is sending convicts and otherwise unsteady people into battle as cannon fodder:

I'm an atheist. I completed dozens of airborne missions in the middle east with the 82nd Airborne, as demolition specialist attached to a Force DELTA unit, and was hand selected amongst other Ranger Qualified soldiers for HPMs and elimination of HPTs.
I sustained injuries making me unfit for duty (a combination of bullets and shrapnel) and recieved a purple heart along with a bronze star for personal courage, sacrifice and valor on the field of battle. My confirmed kill count is well over 200 and while I was leading my squad as Master Sergeant, we sustained no casualties. Among my squad were extremlely christian soliders, two gays, a muslim and a few pagans. We all defended each other like brothers and never failed to achieve a mission objective.
All in all, sir...I say fuck you.
