Christian Pastor for the Planetshakers youth movement in Australia Michael Guglielmucci has admitted that his cancer is a hoax. Wikinews has also learned that one of the churches he preached at has had videos showing his claims of cancer removed from YouTube, claiming copyright infringement. He has also admitted to being addicted to pornography for over 16 years.

Addicted to pornography? What was he, snorting it?
If you are not spending more than 2 hours a day on average looking at porn, you are not addicted to it: you're human.
As for faking cancer: I hope you get cancer. Not the most ironic of punishments, but good enough for me.
God, guys. Can't you please actually realize people can be addicted to porn. I'm not a fundy... but boy I was addicted... it is possible and claiming it's not is ignoring problem, everyone taken too much is a poison, as some person said. So everyone who claims it like a joke. Fuck you, fuck you! It took my girlfriend crying to stop me. I couldn't on my own, I needed her help. Can't you take anything seriously. Look, making fun of something serious, is depraved and wrong.
Oh and for Fundy, you're one malignant asshole. Really saying you have cancer to get support... God..
what an arse. my husband has had cancer twice and the radiation from the first bout may have caused the second. To fake having cancer is just damn messed up.
I had 2 friends to die from cancer (breast and brain), my father died from cancer and this bozo will somehow become a fundie darling. This is truly disgusting.
For added hypocrisy, you can still find his tuneless dirge 'The Healer' on youtube, along with lots of comments about how everyone should forgive the poor tormented soul.
The performance he gave with oxygen tubes up his nose does seem to have been deleted though.
he will no doubt break down in tears, ask for forgiveness, be forgiven, be back next week as slimy as before, but "purged of sin"
@Moon Wolfhowl (#691283): And...How is this porno addiction connected in any way to him lying about having cancer?
Haven't you heard? 85% of all religious con artists have been scientifically proven to also be addicted to porn!
I used to go to this church.
He used to encourage church members to fill in credit card slips and empty their wallets because 'jesus is watching your every move'.
He deserves all the bad publicity he gets.
@Allegory for Jesus
Is that 2 consecutive hours? Or can I take a break halfway through if my hands get tired?
@vampirehummingbird
Treated as in counseling treated? Treated as in being prayed for treated? Or treated like a fresh new prison inmate treated?
He was supposedly thrown out of a Hillsong conference after it was revealed it was all a hoax (apparently they believed that he wouldn't lie about have cancer)
I understand the church purging the videos (They may have had no reason the check the facts, shit who would expect someone to be such a prick, but it still made them look like idiots)
@ Jeff Weskamp:
I guess Hillsong isn't fundie then. They're just pissed he conned them.
Ah, this bloke.
I heard about this. My Dad has a mate who watches Hillsong and absolutely revered ("Revered"? "Reverend"? Get it ... ? No? Screw you guys, I'm going home ...) him and then this happened, and I heard about it from my Dad.
So, you know, yet another hypocrite who hides behind religion that we can add to the long list, including Ted Haggard (being gay and a crystal meth user) and Anjem Choudary (drink and drugs).
For the record, the porn issue wouldn't be a big deal to me, but part of his career was no doubt spent telling people it's wrong.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
