where do you suppose we gain moral absolutes?
where does our conscience come from?
a greater power with the ability to create us with what is knowing right and wrong.
[But if God gave everyone the same sense of right and wrong, why do so many disagree?]
people that disagree probably do not believe in God. i'm only making an assumption though.

A really bad assumption. There's plenty of argument about right and wrong even among believers. More importantly, though, atheists are perfectly capable of recognizing right and wrong. It's simple enough - don't hurt other people.
There are multiple sects of Christianity.
Each sect disagrees with each other on certain things.
Since every Christian sect disagrees with at least 1 other Christian sect, every Christian disagrees with something.
Therefore, by April's Assumption, every Christian does not believe in God. QED.
1) We don't. Some people choose to look for them in spite of this fact.
2) Humans are social animals. Is it suprising that social conditioning would produce a conscience?
Now, finally, let's provisionally grant that (those) assumption(s). God still gave those people the same sense of right and wrong, right?
Then, that is a non-sequitur, and comes off as nothing more than a poor attempt at poisoning the well.
Read some interesting statistics the other day. 13% of Americans don't believe in a God, so according to April you'd expect that more than 13% of the criminals in jail would be athiests, correct?
The real amount? 1/10 of 1%.
Actually, it wasn't God that gave humans a sense of right and wrong -- at least not according to the Bible. Adam and Eve ate the fruit of The Tree Of Knowledge Of Good And Evil and _that_ is where humanity got it. If you believe in that kind of thing, anyhow.

So being moral is, in a way, sinful.
Huh. I like it.

That's because the evil activist judges like to keep the atheists on the streets so they can continue eating Christian babies.
And as we all know, no christian has EVER commited a crime because they ALL know what is right and wrong.
Yeh, I think everyone basicaly knows right from wrong. christians commit crimes, duh..we try not to but we were born with a sinful nature and there are so many temtaions out there. If you want to beleive that christians are perfect go ahead, but you'll be let down.

Yeah, we become aware of that every time one of your ministers molests a child, cheats on his taxes, hires a hooker, beats up his wife and kids, or rips off his own parishioners. I doubt that any of them were trying very hard not to sin. They seem to just go ahead and do it, as if they have no morals at all.
Besides, the Bible says that he who is born of God does NOT sin, and anyone who sins is not born of God. So, if you sin, you're not a True Christian.
In that case, thank God is just an assumption. Following your logic, you, who disagree with somebody, logically, would not believe in God either.
Confused?
