I hope we don't get a female president for a hundred years or more. Maybe ever. We have enough problems with pantywaist men.

I fear for a country in which leaders are elected based on gender, skin color, religion, and sexual orientation alone.
Wow, a woman that has prejudices against women, like a self hating woman.
Free conservatives can now say that aside from their poster hating everyone that isn't like them, now the poster hate themselves as well.
Oh man - thanks Maronan - I'm going to try that on the next homophobe I meet.
(Oh wait jumped too many steps). Yes they do seem to be voting on those things, and good luck getting a minority into the whitehouse (even though women aren't exactly a 'minority') but it really does seem to boil down to money not merit. And started thinking about the fact money talks, and the circulation of said money.
Might have to tell them some queers had it in his back pocket or down his pants or in her bra. See if they value it quite so much any more

Chuck, you say that like it's rare. What kind of self esteem can fundy-women really have?
Oh, right, Julian, there's the obvious "money" aspect. Leaders are also elected by how much money they have to spend on campaigns. Now I feel much better about the state of our country. (forced fake smile)
Of course, people like Dick Cheney are certainly the tough manly men some people seem to want. He can take candy from babies, (shoot someone helpless who has been locked up), and scam money for Halliburton by helping them get bloated contracts to provide services to the people whose targets actually SHOOT BACK. Then, there's Bush; a real tough manly man who can move to an entirely different state in order to avoid the draft, and who has the arm strength necessary to pull his family connections and stay out of the army.
Well, we almost had a female president! Equally surprising, now we have a black guy. :-)
BTW, WTF does "pantywaist men" even mean? Sorry, I don't live in the early 1900s.
You've had a Catholic in the White House (JFK), now you have a Black man as President of the United States. Thus proving that nothing's impossible.
Y'know, despite their disagreements during the campaign (actual or 'for the cameras'), I reckon Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton had secretly agreed that whoever was nominated for the Democrat ticket, either one would recruit the other as Secretary of State, should either be elected. Now Hillary is in such a senior cabinet position, this will give her kudos. And above all, experience (especially if Obama gets his second term, which is looking extremely likely, and she gets that post again).
And you know what that means, come 2016...
Confused?
