If truth be told, Judaism (Christianity) is the oldest religion known to man.

Those are about the same age, actually - it's hard to say which came first, because they developed in regions of the world which had little or no contact and at approximately the same time.
Besides, I know a lot of Jews who would argue with the presumption that Christianity is a continuation of Judaism.
Very good point SaneChick. He obviously hasn't seen the many debates on this topic.
Judaism is one of the oldest religions, but it's totally separate from Christianity. Nice try champ.
I think one reason Christians wanted it to be a continuation of Judaism is so they wouldn't have to put as much effort into keeping the rules of their religion.
What about: Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Native American religions, Traditional Chinese belief systems...?
Hinduism, Jainism, Zarathustrianism, all predate both Christianity and Judaism. Combined.
But, no, do feel free to talk out of your ass again. I do so enjoy a ventriloquism act.
Ah, but there are no real religions except for Christianity! Except that Christianity isn't a religion, its a personal relationship with god. Except when tax time rolls around, then its a religion, because The Constitution guarantees a separation between church and state. Except when we're talking about non-fundamentalist points of view, then the USA is a Christian nation.
Aw $#*!, who cares anyway?
Except all the older religions.
I'm sure a few have been listed already.
