I'll answer since some people who are ignorant (or worse) occasionally throw this sort of thing out, thinking that they're making a legitimate argument.
No, you moron. All Israeli citizens (except ultra-Orthodox Jews, most Arabs, and people released due to some exception) are drafted for military service, which they complete - often without having seen any combat or other sort of conflict - and go on to live normal civilian lives.
Until recently, many European countries had compulsory drafts for men (a few still do). Like Israelis, these men might at some point be called upon to mobilize in case of war. Does that mean they were always soldiers after they finished military service, too? Perhaps you also see them as viable targets for attacks by those who don't like the foreign or domestic policies of their countries?
If somebody is not currently an active soldier or other sort of militant, and they are unarmed, then they are civilians. Period. You can look up the term 'civilian' in a dictionary if it confuses you.
So you might say, at least we can attack and kill active soldiers with impunity, right? Right?
No.
You can't.
See, international law (and often domestic, as well) basically states that disarmed soldiers are to be detained rather than executed. And that this detainment should be humane.
You can't just kill whenever you like even an active soldier who's not pointing a gun at you. The combat forces fighting in 1990s ex-Yugoslavia sometimes did this. The result was that a bunch of our former combatants or their commanders got slapped with war crimes indictments by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
Israeli forces and intelligence services may not always respect this rule of not harming people who are not an active threat, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't.
I won't even go into your "Israel is enemy of humanity" and how it is, ironically, a dehumanizing statement, even as it purportedly defends 'humanity'.
P.S. Can I physically retaliate against you by slapping you for your stupidity? (I'll be generous and not ascribe deep malevolence as your motive...)
Pretty please?
