Yes. I personally believe that is the wife's main duty to give her husband children and if she doesn't want kids then she shouldn't get married or let her husband marry another woman who will give him children. There's no execuse for a woman not to give her husband children unless she is infertile.

Because all men want children.
It's a good idea for a couple to discuss important issues like whether they want children before they get married. If they can't agree it's a deal breaker. But it's not unusual for a couple to agree not to have any.
Edit: The OP that Wolfmuslim is responding to actually said that not having children was a mutual decision between herself and her husband. She's only asking whether it's selfish because of other people. But Wolfmuslim seems to think it is still her duty to give her husband kids although he doesn't want them either.
And what if the husband is sterile or it's he who doesn't want children?, ah yes, your religion says women are property, sorry.
Damn you, wolfmuslim. You soil the name of good wolves everywhere, and besides that, you're a fucking judgemental asshat. Fuck you to the hell you undoubtedly are so quick to send others to.
And her husband should care about her opinion before marrying her, don't you think?. Besides, the question was clear, both she and her husband are hesitant to have children. It's not the wife's problem, no matter what the patriarchal bedouine culture in which you live has to say.
Since everyone has already told you the equivalent of 'fuck you' when it comes to the duty-to-have-children thing, let me touch on this:
'wife's main duty to give her husband children'
Give? Excuse me? If my brother and I had to belong to one parent, we'd belong to our mother. She carried us for nine months. She went through the extremely painful process of childbirth in order to have us. She raised us.
So, no. A woman who gives birth does not give her husband children. A woman who gives birth has children. They are solely hers unless the husband steps up to the plate in an EQUAL partnership, or she abandons her duty as a mother.
Oh, and you know what 'duty as a mother' means? It doesn't mean a woman has to get pregnant and become a mother. It means that if she freely chooses to become a mother, she has a duty to act like one. In the same vein, if a man freely chooses to be a father, he'd better damn well act like one.
FREELY. CHOOSES.
Asswipe.
What if she wants children, but finds out after she gets married that she is infertile? Should the husband be allowed to break his marriage vows and cheat if spreading his seed is so important?
Oh wait... he's a man, and this is islam, so marriage vows don't apply to him.
So I guess that people who are past childbearing age shouldn't get married. What was my great-uncle thinking when he remarried? Never mind that he already had four grown daughters, he needed more babies, darn it!
You are an idiot, wolfmuslim.
@TrickTrack: Yes, he does soil the good name of wolves. Wolves are my favorite animals and they don't deserve this.
Confused?
