I’m further befuddled that most political leftists want to play the freedom-of-choice card to live their lives and insist we let their individual choice reign, yet they’re all about indoctrinating our youth with a theory to the exclusion of lessons in hope, faith, and love – true love. (just a couple byproducts to which learning and believing Creationism will lead— and that’s harmful how?)

Yeah, that experiment has been tried, and it failed. Pay a little attention to European history, OK?

Teaching students the truth is anti-choice? Spare us your factual relativism.

Since when is belief in your fairy tale either necessary or sufficient for love? If anything, it seems to be a hindrance.
We are not teaching people that faith, hope, and love are a bad thing. We are teaching them that while those virtues are excellent to have, we also need to know how the world actually works.
I'm afraid that lessons of hope, faith, and love, to the exclusion of facts, are retarded. That is all.
Most creationists don't know the first thing about love and acceptance. Creationists are harmful because they harm the planet, they harm the mind, and they harm the individual. They're robots, built to destroy.
Off the top of my head:
1) The next generation of biological and medical researchers will cease to exist.
2) It causes a mistrust of science in general, and causes people to believe in magical miracle cures (faith healing and laetrile, anyone?)
3) It'll make America a laughing-stock.
4) It suppresses critical thinking, causing national gullibility and stupidity.
Really? Because rabid Creationists are some of the least loving people I have ever met. I guess it's easy to act like a dick when you believe that, because you are a Christian and a human being, God sees you as more special than other people or other living things.
"yet they’re all about indoctrinating our youth with a theory to the exclusion of lessons in hope, faith, and love"
that's part of the choice.
YOU'RE supposed to teach your kids about that. It's none of the school's business.
"Hey, Larry, how did you do in Hope, Faith and Love?
"A lousy 72."
"I told that you ought to study."
I have attempted to engage Chris Palle at his blog, but to no avail. The man is truly a coward, and as intellectually dishonest as they come. Grow some balls and a brain, Chris Palle.

Have you even read the bible. There is very little love in it(in the OT atleast).

"This is your last warning!"
Ummm, how can it be our last warning when you've cut and pasted the same crap several times to various threads on page one alone?
You don't want to "discuss" anything, nimrod. Discussing something does not entail cutting and pasting the same mindless bullshit over and over.
Do us all a favor, and fuck off.
Hey, FSTDT-ers! This coward actually signed off with a link! What say we give him a nice DDoS attack to show him just how nice it is to be spammed?
Epic Fail- Creationism teaches you can't hope the world will go on for Gigayears, that you ought not have faith in reason, and must not love your gay neighbour.
in addition to the fact it's anti-scientific superstition, it has the opposite effect of what you claim for it. That's how it's harmful.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
