The talk of economy is a cope out and you know it. It is not hard to keep your economy going, especially if you HAVE PEOPLE. If you abort all your babies, you won't have an economy in the first place!

For the record, I never said we would have to fight a war with the U.S.. We could secede from the Union without a war. And we would not have to go to war with other nations. If someone were to attack us, we would just go Nuclear on them and shut them down. The vast majority of nations will back down when you Nuke them. Like Japan did in WWII, most humans will just stop trying to fight you if you turn some of their cities into glass and shadows.

Moral values first! Then the economy. In that order.

Moral values don't include nuking. Moreover, those countries which have "moral values" have a very stricken economy. Why?, because, believe it or not, abortions are not that numerous as you think and you're not missing a great deal of workforce. In fact, far more children die of natural causes in the third world countries, which explains, in a vicious cyrcle, the problem(or part of it). Take Pakistan or, possibly Iran, or Israel, why haven't they nuked, as you proposed, watching your example of the II World War?, easy, because, at the time, ONLY USA HAD THE BOMB. Now, it's ubiquitous. And what the hell, haven't you thought that those countries may have that too and will retaliate?. Haven't you considered WHY the nuke haven't been used again since WWII?

Aside from that, I'm pretty sure that if you attempted to secede and become an independent government that the codes to the nuclear weapons would be the first fucking thing changed. People like you obviously aren't cognitively equipped to build a campfire, let alone a nuclear weapon, so this part of your devious plan is null and void.

A quick history lesson will tell you that nobody else had nuclear weapons at the time you fucking idiot. Of course everyone would back down if you're the only one holding all the cards but, like I pointed out, that's not quite the case any more.

Who advocated aborting all the babies? Anyone? Abortion denotes a woman having a CHOICE to carry the baby or not. Not doctors sneaking into women's rooms at night, and sucking the fetus out.

Anyone read through the thread?

In a later passage he talks about how, in his new nation, those found guilty of capital crimes in court would be hung by the neck until dead immediately afterward. Because after all, no one has ever been found guilty of a crime who was exonerated based on evidence that was discovered later.

He invokes the "glass parking lot" meme over and over again. He also repeatedly sneers at people who think his nation's government would be a little too "austere"--he loves that word, apparently. And when asked repeatedly about how homosexuals and other "deviant" types would be treated, he sort of gets coy and refuses to answer because he says his answer would bring down the lock from the mods. And apparently in his own mind, the rest of the world would envy his demonic little hellhole for this to the point that they'd be beating off the people trying to get in with a stick.

It's like a trainwreck. It's so disgustingly horrifying you can't help but watch.

No country aborts all their babies. China has been doing the "One kid per family" thing for decades, and they are still the largest country in the world, population-wise.
However, you do have a point there; many girl babies have "disapeared", and now China has a surplus of men who can't find a girlfriend/wife.

At the time of WWII, only the US and Soviet had nuclear weapons. Now many, many countries have nuclear warheads of their own, and the second they learn that you've sent a bomb their way, they will send their own heading your way. What goes around, comes around.

Seriously, read through that thread or the two that follow it. He doesn't give two shits about human life once it exits the womb. Poverty? Starvation? Doesn't care--sink or swim, fucker, as long as the porn shops get burned to the ground. He wants to see the death penalty expanded to include Old Testament crimes. No appeals for condemned criminals. Wrongfully accused? Oh well, life's a bitch. His idea of mercy is giving the condemned two or three days to get right with Jesus before stringing him up. Human rights? Yeah, that shit's for commies. Yeah. Well, you try to pay your unimaginably huge debt to China with the value of just your 'morals', sparky. Meanwhile, their economy (along with that of India) rolls on inexorably. Along with their growing industrial base, nay, their unlimited resource: educated people.

No wonder China's set to overtake the US in the next two years in terms of scientific R&D (they already possess the most powerful supercomputer on the planet, Tianhe 1A). Unhindered by 'moral values' as you know them. China is at best irreligious; at worst (as far as you fundies in the US are concerned), Atheist. Nope, no GOP telling them what to do. That film ("Colossus") reminds me of a short story I read years ago*: the finest human minds conceive, design and build the ultimate hypercomputer, with not just an AI, but an AS ('Artificial Sentience') loaded into it. All human knowledge is programmed into said AS, and as a test run, it comes up with a cure for cancer, and other diseases. The government is involved, and it entrusts the running of it's entire defence system, making it completely foolproof; also making such completely tamperproof (by outside agencies/enemies). The hypercomputer is powered by an unlimited fusion power source, which itself is completely tamperproof, making it self-sufficient. The entire system itself (including the AS core) is completely sealed, to make it not only tamperproof, but indestructible.

Once it is completed, and fully online, one of the staff asks the question 'Is there a God?' The AS ponders a moment, then replies:

'There is now.'

*- A variation of one from the 1950s, now I come to think of it.
