My guess, just off-hand, would be ZERO. I don't think there are any American-Christian terrorists. [ we'll exclude President Bush for the sake of brevity].
But the only Americans who have been caught and detained as terrorists seem to have switched over to another, ah, religion [if bombing and killing innocent people can be called a 'religion'].
Funny thing is, I Posted a similar Question about a month ago using another nationality and religion [maybe like Arab-Islamic. maybe] and got Reported and my Account "Suspended" within an hour.
I'm wondering if there is a double-standard here?
Anyway, what was the question?

The FBI would like to explain to you who were Una Bomber, Timothy MacVeigh(remember Oklahoma?)and the anti-abortionist and White supremacist terrorists. So, no, there is double standard.
"I don't think there are any American-Christian terrorists"
Oh semantics...how America loves you! Yes...there are few, if any, American Christian "terrorists". Mostly because we don't need to be terrorists if we have our governments approval to gun down "potential terrorists" in the streets of Iraq. What our soldiers are doing is far worse than what the terrorists are guilty of, but because we are doing it with government sanction under the glorious banner of warfare, we are free to kill to our heart's content and be called heroes for it.
Who needs terrorism when you have the guise of the traditional warfare to hide under?
Strikes me as more naive, reductionist, nationalist, and racist than strictly fundamentalist, but I admit that these things tend to share space in our culture.
Wow, selective amnesia at it's best. Totally forgot about the good Christian boy Timothy McVeigh and his cohort blowing up the federal building in Oklahoma City. Family planning clinics, OB/GYNs getting murdered for performing a requested procedure, etc etc.
Funny thing is this question and all its answers have been deleted.
Uh...what about the sectarian violence between Protestants and Catholics in Europe over the years?
Bombings, shootings, and arson in the name of the anti-abortion movement?
Several white supremacist groups have used biblical scripture as justification for violence.
The KKK for one, firebombing churches for god.
I doubt PETA ALF and ELF based their views secularly.
Then the others in the first post.

"Uh...what about the sectarian violence between Protestants and Catholics in Europe over the years?"
Well, he did say American-Christian... so all those in Europe don't count.
Then again, would it be fair to say that those who actively support Terrorism would count as Terrorists? If so, I'd like to point mr best.bouy2 in the direction of EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN CHRISTIAN WHO ACTIVELY SUPPORTED THE IRA FOR DECADES!
Funny how that War on Terror has forgotten about that lot, isn't it?
My guess, just off-hand, would be ZERO. I don't think there are any American-Christian terrorists.
I'll bet he thinks anyone who's a terrorist is not a real Christian, therefore true by definition.
Eric Rudolph--terrorist Christian
KKK--sure
Paul Hill--abortionist assassin, Christian terrorist
The Order--white supremacist terrorists in the early 1980s, most professed "Christian Identity." The leader-guy was apparently a pagan (worshipped Odin, Thor) though.
But for the sake of precision:
Una Bomber--no way--secular/agnostic
Tim MacVeigh--right wing extremist, but self-proclaimed athiest
"if bombing and killing innocent people can be called a 'religion'"
Well, then I guess Christianity isn't a religion, then, according to you.
Of course there's no American-Christian terrorists, because as soon as their caught they are declared:
1. Not Real Americans(TM)
2. Not True Christians(TM)
You people sell out your own kind faster than Walmart at Christmas.
There is a double standard. The US only takes Muslim terrorism seriously these days. The Conservative Word Redefinition Project stuck the words "Islamic" and most likely "Arab" into the definition of terrorist while we weren't looking.
That being said, just because nobody thinks of them as terrorists anymore because they haven't got keffiyehs, doesn't mean that American terrorists don't exist.
@:Osiris - They call them Heroes, I think
@:CT - In all fairness the Irish lot have been pretty quiet and peaceful since the War on Terror started, and they're not really American either
"Anyway, what was the question?"
Ending your answer in this is not a good sign.
You also left out the Xtians that bomb gay bars and family planning centers, and people who murder or severely beat people for being homosexual or some other difference. Actually don't a lot of racists still use Xtianity as a reason to beat down on minorities? Also the abusive husbands that use Xtianity as a crutch. This is if you ignore our government, as you so conveniently have, since they are the biggest Xtian terrorist organization.
Confused?
