1. In God we trust is only the motto as of 1956. Before that, it was simply E Pluribus Unum, I believe.
2. National anthem doesn't mention God, that I know of.
3. The pledge of allegiance didn't mention God until the same time that In God we trust became our motto.
4. The Preamble does not mention God either.
5. The Declaration of Independence was not a foundational or legislative document for our country, simply a notice sent to England that we were beginning the process of defecting from their country.
6. The Mayflower Compact, though it mentions God, was simply a founding document for Plymouth, over a century before the Declaration of Independence, and while it was still a British colony. You're basically saying that we are Christian nation because Puritans came here first.
7. The founding fathers being Christian (which most were not, at least not by today's standards) shows nothing about their intent to found the country on Christian principles. They were more influenced by Enlightenment principles than Christianity, however, and were clear in their writings and speeches that they did not want to found a Christian theocracy.

I don't believe we have a national motto. And God doesn't belong on the money, because this country is not supposed to endorse any religion.

Many of those documents you list have nothing to do with your religion and do not mention them at all.

The preamble to the Constitution, for example:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

So check your references, dumbass.

As for your English comments, how about you learn to speak English first, and THEN tell others what to do? Your spelling and grammar would make any true English speaker cry.

If you knew anything about history, you'd know that, historically, first generation immigrants did not learn to speak English fluently, partially because, in previous eras, immigrants were more segregated from the rest of the society in which they lived. Today, most everyone learns, at least to a passable extent.

But this is beside the point. A person has the right to speak whatever the hell he or she desires to speak.

1. "In God We Trust" replaced "E Pluribus Unum" as the national motto in 1956, long after the nation was founded.

2. The rarely heard 3rd stanza of "The Star Spangled Banner" does include the line, "In God is Our Trust." It was not officially adopted as the American national anthem until 1931, again long after the nation was founded.

3. The original pledge of allegiance was written in 1892, adopted in 1942 and changed in 1954 to include the words, "under God," yet again, long after the nation was founded.

4. The preamble of The Constitution makes no mention of God (let me guess, you're a tea-bagger whose only knowledge of the aforementioned document is the first three words)

5, 6, 7. None of these are standing legal documents. They are merely historical curiosities. And as far as the writings of the founding fathers, does that include the ones who were Anglicans, Unitarians and Catholics (i.e. denominations that modern day fundamentalists refuse to consider Christian)? I've always wondered about that.

In short, your examples have demonstrated that the modern movement to promote the USA as a Christian nation was not the original intention of the founding fathers. Rather, it is a primarily 20th century idea, promoted by ignoramuses who neither understood nor appreciated the work of said founding fathers. Somehow though, I don't think that will make a difference to you.

Adopted as the national motto in 1956. Before that, the unofficial national motto was "E pluribus unum".

Written in 1814, adopted as the national anthem in 1931. To my knowledge, the first stanza is the only one commonly sung, leaving out the fourth (the one with the religious content).

"Indivisible" was changed to "under God" in 1954.

"Blessings" is not used in a religious context.

Does the phrase "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" mean anything to you?
