Having a baby has made me unapologetically pro-life with no exceptions.

How disassociated do you have to be to see a new human life created and call it "just a clump of cells"? How can two people look at the same beginning and have two wildly and mutually exclusive conclusions? When my wife and I saw our pregnancy test was positive we were jumping for joy. We cried when we saw the first little blip of life during the ultrasound. In light of that, someone seeing the same things and concluding killing it is no different than cutting out a cancerous growth is nihilistic at best. These conclusions cannot both be true. We are all just "clumps of cells" if you turn a blind eye towards the greater meaning of human life.

IMO pro-lifers have the more salient and logically consistent argument. I found it more appealing before having a child and I have become completely convinced after having one of my own. Arbitrarily assigning the "point of life" to a child is a monster's game to end that child's story. Pro-choice arguments seem to be post-hoc flimsy justifications to escape the moral and ethical crime that was just committed in order to spare the offender the totally normal guilt one SHOULD feel after committing such an atrocity.

In any event, it's like to me it's kind of annoying to even debate it [“recent scrutiny of Hegseth over a report that the military carried out a likely illegal follow-up strike to kill survivors of an initial attack in the Caribbean”]. That's how it feels to me, so I'm really not that into it, nor do I really care that we're killing the drug boat guys trying to kill my kids and yours right now by bringing their fentanyl to the United States to try to get our kids when they go to college with, you know, some drug in some moment of weakness where they think they're taking a Xanax like what happened to poor Eric Bowling's child, and instead it's laced with fentanyl.

So, I really do kind of not only want to see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so that they lose a limb and bleed out a little — like I'm really having a difficult time ginning up sympathy for these guys who 10 seconds earlier almost got taken out by the initial bomb, but because they managed to get ejected, you know, a little too soon had to be taken out in the water. I realize legally it may make a difference, but truly, Mark, this is a tough case to really gin up the sympathies of the American people.

Not quite. GA and I agree that "White American" is a coherent ethnicity. It's the blending of the european people who've been here for 400 years. 400 years is plenty enough time for an ethnogenesis. It is whatever I and GA, and all the generic white guys are, who are descended from Europeans and identify only as American, with no hyphens, and see ourselves as part of the continuity of this place from Jamestown through the Revolution and the Civil War and WWII and the moon landing to today.

I'm ambivalent about "white ethnostate." I'm not sure what that means. If it means "everyone is White American" then absolutely not. Black Americans are heritage Americans, they've been here as long as my family. What I'd like is something more like the racial demographics of my childhood in the 1980s or so. What I don't like is having to ever hear the words "the Somalian community in Minnesota" or "the entirely Muslim city council of Deerborn Michigan" or "Another Chinese spy for the CCP caught smuggling a parasitic mold into the US that could wipe out all vegetable production" or "new Indian CEO of major American corporation fires 10,000 workers, plans new $10B investment in India." None of this new immigration is doing anything for me. It's making my life and my country worse in countless ways large and small, from my kid's school concerts to the cost of housing to my car insurance premiums to my tax bills to ER wait times to everything else.

I wouldn't call 1986 a "white ethnostate," but I liked it when the major race relation issues we had were between white and black Americans, and I can tolerate a smattering of hispanics and some one-off asians. But no "communities."

However, for parents, grandparents and siblings of trans-identified family members, there is no joy to be found and no triumph to be felt.

Instead of joy and peace, we experience sorrow and anxiety. We find ourselves exhausted, disappointed and with no energy or desire to shop, cook or celebrate the holidays. Shopping for the child who’s declared that he/she is not our son/daughter feels as if the floor of the mall has become lava. We tip-toe around, trying not to get burned. We look for neutral items which makes finding a present an impersonal and painful task. Then, what do we write on the name tag? We either lie to ourselves to make them happy or write the truth and create and explosion of anger. So, we settle for “To: My dearest second child”. We dread not seeing the estranged or distant child and we dread seeing them and the potential scenes that will take place if anyone “deadnames” him/her. We anticipate the gray cloud that will settle over the table while everyone is trying to enjoy a holiday meal that will taste bitter to us.

Why celebrate when we will be painfully reminded that our families are broken and incomplete? How do we reconcile the bustle and hustle of the season with the emptiness that we feel, not only inside, but tangibly through the empty seats at the table? Even if a chair is not empty, there’s one that might as well be because the child or grandchild who sits there is as absent and removed as the one who doesn’t come home.

I’m growing to resent the LGBT community and the people in it.

Before I start this, I’d like to preface it with saying that I want HELP. Anyone planning on flaming me on the comments will only push me to be more to be LGBT-phobic. I want help. I don’t want to hate lgbt people. I’ve always been tolerant/embracing of the lgbt crowd. However, recently, I’ve become resentful, and something hateful is building in me. It seems like every in-person interaction I have with an LGBT person, specifically Lesbian, Transgender, or Bisexual, there’s an overwhelming “I’m morally superior than you and you don’t know suffering” For an example, I was telling some motivational, “overcome your obstacles and become great” speech, and they just straight up said that they couldn’t BECAUSE they’re gay. Then they told me they can’t because they’re suicidal and gay. I mentioned my struggle with depression and self harm and do you know what they did? Each and every ONE of them explained to me how my suffering didn’t matter because I had NEVER experienced persecution, never been through struggle because I wasn’t lesbian/trans/etc. They explained to me how little I would have accomplished in life if I was LGBT. This is, at minimum, the undertone that I experience when I speak to gay people in real life. It might have something to do with age, I’m a freshman an in HS. But I know that some people probably never grow out of this phase. I’m posting this to a few subs to get support and help me fix this before it becomes an actual issue and belief in me.

TLDR: Every LGT(not so much of an issue with gay men) person of met in real life has had special snowflake syndrome, and I can’t begin to vent about my problems with them without them trying to one up it. It’s starting to build hate and resentment in me.

The last slide of the presentation informs students that they can attend meetings for “Westland’s LGBTQ+ Club” called “SAGA,” which stands for “Sexuality and Gender Acceptance”
