Darwin -> Galton -> First International Eugenics Conference.
The ignorance of history [that Darwin contributed to the Holocaust] here is astounding, and frightening, considering the implications of forgetting what actually happened.

Here's a quick history lesson. Modern eugenics came about after the discovery of natural selection by Darwin. Galton, Darwin's half cousin, thought: "Hey, we aren't doing what all the other animals and lifeforms are doing, we're letting the weak survive, we're going against natural selection." So he proposed eugenics; a philosophy that required humans deemed "weak" to breed less or not breed at all through
prenatal testing and screening, genetic counseling, birth control, and in the case of the Nazis, forced sterilization and murder but that's hardly called practicing eugenics. Eugenics was also used to rationalize certain aspects of the Holocaust but the initial anti-semitic beliefs came thorough centuries of anti-Jewish sentiment and violence inspired by the New Testament (ie. Jews supposedly back stabbed Jesus).
So to blame Darwin for the Holocaust because he discovered natural selection, an observable fact in nature, is akin to blaming Einstein for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
This is just a case of creationists blaming what they don't like (evolution) for the Holocaust and a logical fallacy (guilt by association).
So, I guess we can ignore all the deaths that 'bringing Christianity to the world' has caused? Just because some megalomaniac abused and perverted a scientific theory to excuse his attempt at genocide, doesn't negate ToE or make it evil.
Since the holocaust happened more than 40 years after his death, his contribution, if any, had to be done with a medium.
Confused?
