Here are 7 ways the homosexualization of "marriage" has de-valued the traditional marriages of all Christian families, including my own:

1. It has made our traditional marriage less valuable in the eyes of the state.

2. It has forced Christian couples to pay more taxes to make up for the homosexual "bonus pay" now issued by as tax-benefits given to gay "married" couples.

3. It has de-valued by inflation our dollars in our family's bank accounts by increasing the national debt to pay for more government benefits for gay "married" couples, for which the Fed must print new dollars to pay such debt.

4. It has taken away the rights of Christian couples and Catholic charities to foster or adopt children in states like Massachusetts, as my friend Amy Contrada proves here.

5. It has hurt our national security and therefore our family's safety by de-funding benefits given to straight couples or weapon systems and re-distributing those Pentagon dollars to gay "married" couples.

6. It has hurt our ability to worship Almighty God in a Christian chapel building whose altar has been desecrated by homosexual "weddings" depriving us of a sacred worship space.

7. It has threatened our family's religious freedom in countless ways, as I explain here.

1. No. Theirs is now equal to yours in the eyes of the state. Yours never lost any value; theirs just increased in value.

6. Freedom of religion means that the churches don't have to consecrate any wedding they don't want to. It's why Catholics who've been divorced aren't allowed to marry in a Catholic Church. If your church has started sanctifying gay marriages, and you don't approve, it's time for you to find a new church suited to your Neanderthal views.

2: Newsflash, you had to pay those taxes anyway. Besides, those taxes also go to paying all sorts of general funds, not just to married couples.

4: Again, how so? The website of the Massachusetts' Adoption Resource Exchange only states that sexual preference is not a limiting factor in any way (see for yourself)

6: no, it doesn't. Little as I like it, churches aren't required to perform marriages to any couple that wants to get married, so if any same-sex couple married at your church, it probably means that your Pastor doesn't quite agree with you on how "sinful" homosexualty is.

2. Let's count : there are less than 1% of people being homosexuals living in pairs. Not many will marry. You're comparing a glass & the Lake Erie, here. Therefore not relevant.

That's something important. I've heard a lot of immigrants, here in France, happy to arrive in a country where they'd have "freedom of religion", and then complaining abruptly that "people here have forgotten god". But the first one does not exist without the second one!!!

1.) Not it made traditional marriage EQUALLY as valuable in the eyes of the state. You are the one making it less valuable just because people you don't like can do it too.

2.) Just like my money goes to pay for the cuts married couples do? Not to mention my money pays for your kids' schooling. You wanna keep going down this path?

3.) A restatement of the above. And still, more a call to strip away tax rights to married couples than to deny gays marriage.

4.) Gosh, they pass over someone who won't give their kid a loving, accepting home. They won't give a kid to someone who will abandon them, be it physically or emotionally, if it turns out to be homosexual, bisexual, transgender, etc? It's almost like they want to ensure the child will grow up in a home that will love it unconditionally.

5.) Your military budget is more than one trillion dollars. I sincerely...SINCERELY doubt any money lost to gay marriage tax cuts will not impact that bloated number overmuch.

6.) If your religion is hurt by who I love, and the fact that my government recognizes that love, that is your problem. Not mine. And you're aware that churches cannot be forced to marry anyone they don't want, under protection of the First Amendment, right? Of course you do, you just ignore it, because it doesn't rile up your congregation the same way, does it?

7.) Gosh, it's almost like we want religious freedom too. I mean, why should we have to adhere to your religion's view of us if we don't believe in it. 1. Prefential treatment of one class does not mean that they are seen as better, it means those who aren't treated the same way are seen as less. You still have the same right, other people just have the same rights too.

6- You fundies keep repeating this lie. The law does NOT require churches to perform gay marriages. Only the courts. If your church is performing them and you don't like it, that's their choice. Take it up with them.

1) If I give A $5 and then I give B $5, does that make the $5 I gave to A worth less? How much less?
2) How much? You'll also find non-Christian couples, and gay couples too, have to pay the same taxes.
3) We don't live in the Gay Republic of The Castro. The cost to the economy in terms of the national debt and the money supply is negligible; we're not talking farm subsidies here.
4) Catholic charities have taken away their own rights. Christian couples are free to foster and adopt providing they obey the law.
5) OK, so the government pays benefit to all married gay couples in the military. What proportion of a single missile would that buy? There are other ways the DoD could save money: how about closing all places of worship on military grounds and firing all chaplains?
6) That is your choice. Anyway, what is the likelihood that you would be worshipping in a UU or Episcopalian church or Quaker meeting house where such a wedding had taken place?
7) While I have the freedom to bear arms, I do not have the freedom to stick a gun in your face. By the same token, you have the freedom to worship God in any way you choose, but you do not have the freedom to curtail the rights of others.

3. Some of the 10 percent or so that is gay can now marry and the 90 percent or so that already had access to these government benefits for straight "married" couples get their dollars devalued? What if the gay instead married opposite-sex people for show? Would that inflate the value of your dollars?
4. What? No Christian couple is allowed to foster or adopt children in Massachusetts? But, isn't something like 80 percent of the population there at least sort-of-Christian? Who is to take care of all the kids, when no-one is allowed to adopt or foster them anymore?
