Atheist lie and state that freedom of religion limits an individual's right to practice their own religion. That is a blatant lie. Freedom of religion means you may choose your own religion and practice it freely. DO NOT believe anything the alt-left tells you.

We've never said that freedom of religion means you can't pray. What it does mean, however, is that you can't force prayer into government institutions. Or at least you're not supposed to, but you Christians have been fairly successful at doing that.

It wasn't even all that DISAGREEING, what I like about your posts is that they always try to look for common ground even if the person you're arguing with is a power hungry, control freak buffoon. This is why I take screen shots of everything. Everyone reading this thread knows exactly what Lady Checkmate did, and she will CONTINUE to make herself out to be a poor, persecuted Christian.

I kinda wanted to be a little more antagonistic there, but I figured I'd make it so there would be as little reason as possible, or as little VALID reason at least, for the inevitable deletion. (I did figure she'd remove the comment, but I didn't think she'd close the discussion just like that...)
What ticks me off is her saying atheists say this and that, and not even offering ONE example of such, not even a "quote mine", or something out of context, etc.
I'm not aware of any atheists that say that freedom of religion means limits to religious freedoms. You are free to practice your own religion, your own way, as long as you don't infringe on other's right to practice their religion their way. You are free to pray wherever you want and whenever you want, as long as you don't disturb others while doing it, and you can't force others to pray your way.
Again, RECOMMEND WHAT? A new movie, an online clothes store, a special variety of greenhouse cucumber seeds? WHAAAAAT?

What is known as the Church of $cientology in your country doesn't have that right here in the UK; above the door of the Org down Tottenham Court Road in London it says 'Dianetics and $cientology Life Improvement Centre '.
That's because, unlike your country where the Church of $cientology has tax exemption, the same here in the UK has to pay tax on it's income (Courses, Auditing, materials etc) to HM Inland Revenue.
But like your country, Islam has tax exemption here.

Even if that quote were relevant to the issue, what the president thinks the constitution means is immaterial. He is neither its author nor one of its appointed interpreters and thus is neither in possession of firsthand knowledge of its intended meaning nor qualified to puzzle it out in any official capacity.
Yes, freedom of religion and the First Amendment NEVER prevented anyone from praying, just from praying @ people.

She started the "please recommend" plea around the same time people started to troll the living frig out of her channel. People are lambasting her now because of her utter need to control every single conversation (read: delete and ban anyone who disagrees with her). So now she doesn't trust anyone and doesn't even want her faithful to post comments because they get downvoted into oblivion. So to keep the illusion going that she has a strong and vibrant channel, she keeps telling people to recommend the discussions even though they can't say anything in them. She's grasping at straws now.
