Only a belief system will claim to know when the baby should have human rights and be protected from the big people that want to kill it. The woman that walks into the clinic to abort her child is depending on a belief just like the Christian is depending on a belief to say no, the child has rights. Why are abortion loving belief systems government sanctioned, government funded, taught in our government schools, and written into our laws.

Why do belief systems which preach abortion rights, also preach the moral goodness of promiscuity, homosexuality, pornography, and transgendering? There is an underlying belief system that ties these beliefs together. Those that oppose Christian street preaching, do so from a particular belief system. People need to stop pretending they don't believe and recognize what they have already believed, the belief system by which they live their lives.

Thank you for admitting that the NRA is your God, then.

Otherwise what's stopping you from lobbying the system to remove the 2nd Amendment? Because if just one - and the only - incident of a mass shooting at a school in Dunblane can result in guns being banned in Britain, you'll be admitting II that we in the UK are even more pro-life than you lot are.

But then, we do have a state religion: the Church of England.

You claim to know that the baby has human rights: but only when it's in the womb. Otherwise, in America - and outside the womb & the cord's cut - it's on it's own once it's born.

You lot don't care about retroactive abortions.

Before week 12, when the embryo isn't really alive, the rights of the woman trump the rights of the embryo. As it develops into a fetus, and becomes more and more alive, it gains more rights, and around week 21 (when premature-borns can be saved), the fetus has almost as much rights as the woman does, and few countries allow abortions after this week, unless the life of the woman is threatened, or the fetus is dying or dead. In Sweden, it's not called "abortion" from week 21, it's called "birth", and the newborn has the right to medical care.

You don't abort children, you abort embryos or fetuses.

Nobody loves abortions, just as almost nobody loves mastectomies (trans-men like the result of them, at least), they're just sometimes the lesser of two evils.

Accepted and "moral goodness" are not the same thing. Each person has the right to decide what she or he does with her or his life, as long as they don't infringe on other people's right to do this. If infringements are bad enough, we make laws against them.

Christians have abortions too, some openly, some try to sneak in without anyone noticing, and think THEIR abortion is speshul, but that others shouldn't have abortions.

So what about the Christain women who say yes? Not for other women, just for themelves. Every clinic has seen someone come in for an abortion,even though she and her beliefs are ‘prolife’ and they spend the entire procedure telling everone involved that THEY are going to Hell for performing abortions. Like the one she’s getting. But, surely, HER needs are sufficient. For her.
And in states that have leglsated pro-life, plenty of pro-choice women have discovered that when THEY need it, for medial reasons, the laws do not allow for THEIR situation.
The hypocrisy is amazing, really.
